Seriously, thank God for Sunday. I think we can all agree that perhaps we need to rest our weary heads and relax a bit after the craziness in Boston. And I really couldn't think of a better way to do that then to show you an engagement session at a winery. Right? And as you read the note from the bride, and scroll down to check out the photographs, I hope you will see what I did. PURE LOVE. As a wedding planner, when I see couples like this, it truly makes me proud to help create and orchestrate a kick ass celebration for two people who just "get it". And Sirinya and Khiem? Well, they get it...
(And, not for nothing... I love that Sirinya and Khiem chose to have their engagement session somewhere cool; somewhere that allowed them to act naturally with each other... almost as if the photographer wasn't event there. Know what I mean, bridey?)
From Sirinya, the bride: We met over 10 years ago through mutual friends but didn't start dating until a couple of years later. We were always attracted to each other but hesitant because we've been friends for so long. In October of 2005, we decided to break the seal and went on our first date to a Dodger game. I knew Khiem was a keeper when he bought me a beer, garlic fries and my very first Dodger dog. We soon made it official on January 5th, 2006.
The more time we spent together creating new life experiences, the deeper we fell in love. We both have a passion for food and traveling, soon becoming partners in crime everywhere we went. Khiem always likes to surprise me and recently bought tickets to the Jason Mraz concert on my birthday. The night was perfect! We drank wine, we sang and danced until the very last song. Moments like these are ones that we cherish the most and we're so excited to spend the rest of our time by each other's side.
I love this photograph. Seriously, it's as if they are the only two in the place! Nothing else matters... just them.
I need these wine glasses.
I have to admit, for some reason, seeing empty wine glasses makes be a teeny, tiny bit jealous at the moment...
Moving on to red...
What a great shot!
Um... dunno what it is, but I love the photograph. Hold on... I just blew up the picture... Definitely something with olives! Either way, it's a great pic and now I am craving some crusty bread to dunk into these jars!
I mean... I am loving how unscripted this whole shoot is. Stunning photograph.
Cheers! Although, based on the next picture, it looks like Sirinya might have had one too many! Just kidding (sorta...)!!
Seriously... Does it get any better than this? Probably not, however, I can't WAIT to see the wedding photographs!
