Fantasy Friday ~ When Brooklyn Goes a L'il Bit Country... A Beautiful, Mountainy, Ranch Wedding!

Amy and Cameron? New Yorkers! Yup! They are living in Brooklyn and had their wedding at a ranch in Nevada! Talk about a destination wedding!! Right? Why? Well, because Amy is originally from the area, and it has become special to Cameron too. And, why the fuck not? Why not have your wedding on a mountain range? If the area is meaningful to the B+G, and the wedding is about them as a couple, then how FABULOUS (and daring) are they for selecting this cool venue? I bet the New Yorkers were a little out of their element!

Bridey, when asked what advice Amy had for other brides, she said something that totally resonated with me (and SEVERAL brides who I've worked with in the past)... She said, "Though we were engaged in December and married in November, we didn't decide on the city of our wedding until about five months out. Keeping the planning window short was a huge blessing. No one needs to obsess about details for longer." Can I get a HELL YES!!! Bridey, sometimes this isn't always possible, but if you can do it, then DO IT! Enjoy the engagement, enjoy each other, and try to enjoy the planning! But, if nothing else, then please enjoy the details of this BEAUTIFUL wedding!!Cow...
WOW! Such a beautiful wedding dress!!
Um. Yes, please! Love the shoes, Amy!
Amy: The ceremony began with a welcome from Cameron's dear friend Zack, and my brother gave a blessing that captured the room. Pastor Pat Mecham administered the vows--first for our family, asking them to promise their support of our marriage, and then for us. We wrote our own vows and repeated the same promises to one another.
One of my fave pics! SO super candid!!
Stunning.
I'm guessing that holding a pitchfork would probably be too much for these New Yorkers!
FABULOUS escort cards!!
Wow. Just wow!
Amy: "We shipped Junior's New York Cheesecake from Brooklyn to Elko. It's the best cheesecake in New York and was a slice of the city at our country wedding."
I love that Amy didn't have any bridesmaids... Amy: "Just my sister. It was important to us to have our family surround us on our wedding day. Cameron's brother was his best man."
Clearly, everybody is having a great time!
Thank you Amy and Cameron for sharing your kickass wedding with Bitchless Bride!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Super Colorful, Super Fabulous, Amazing Rainbow Wedding, Rockin' Some Serious Pride! YEAH!

OMG. Are you fucking falling over right now, bridey? Seriously, just look at this incredible ceremony setup. LOOK! Yes, I am totally yelling at you, but that's simply because I am 100% OBSESSED with Steven and Andrew's wedding. It's RAINBOW!!! And, I love rainbows... So much so, that in 2013, I put together a post called The Rainbow Connection. I thought was pretty fucking awesome, but now that I have had the privilege of sharing this with you, I realized that it hardly holds a candle to Steven and Andrew's kickass wedding!

Aside from all of the colorful deets (quite literally), I love that these two groom's are waving the rainbow flag, HIGH (well, they're signing it instead of a guest book!)!!! I mean... Love is love... Marry whoever the fuck you want. Love whoever you want. And be whoever you want! Now, go love this wedding like I did! (If you want to see Steven and Andrew's engagement shoot, and learn more about their story, click here.)

Fantasy Friday ~ An Intimate, Vintage Inspired Tennessee Wedding

Bridey, do you know what the most suggested piece of advice is from one bride to another? Have fun on your wedding day! Relax! Enjoy every second. Well, that's exactly what Becky and Devin did... They enjoyed every.single.second. And, know what? It totally shows in the photographs! I mean... There is so much to love about this intimate, vintage inspired wedding, that I hardly know where to begin because I love all of the intricate details. Seriously, the deets are so meaty and delicious that I can't stand it! Just wait until you see the stunning, hand crafted bouquets, the wedding dresses, the gentlemen attire, etc.!!

The other super cool part of Becky and Devni's wedding? Well, the B+G have two gorgeous little girls, and they did an incredible job of making these beauties a huge part of their ceremony. After all, a wedding is about a union of two people, right? And, if these two people have two other people together, then everybody should be involved, right? RIGHT!! Anyway... Enjoy!!
LOVE. Like... So beautiful and clever.
That's the B+G and their two adorable little girls!
Couldn't you see this pic in your mom's wedding album?
I can't... It's just too good! Becky, your bouquet is really amazing!
SHUT the front door...
A single tear just rolled down my cheek...
Okay... A few more tears... Whhaaaa? What can I say? This one totally got to me!
Such a cool group shot!
Can you tell that Becky is a model? Definitely owning these photographs! And, Devin? You're pretty easy on the eyes too!  Some of my fave wedding pics!!
So simple and pretty. Know what? It's fucking red velvet too! Oh yeah!
Too cute!
Hi. Yum!
And now it's time for a costume change. WOW!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ ***FLASHBACK*** Cowboy Boots, Carrots, and a Pistol (Yes! A Pistol)! Just a FAB Texan Wedding!

I really don't know where to begin with Rachael and Kirk's wedding. All I can tell you, bridey, is that everything about it screams awesome. From the vibrant colors to the stunning ceremony décor (and setting) to the cakes (yes, both of them) and the party, this wedding stole my heart!

I mean... Just look up at that photograph of Rachael and Kirk. Could I have enticed you with a pic of the bride's cool bouquet which rocked flowers and carrots? I could have... Or perhaps the record player groom's cake? Sure... But, as I practically preach on Bitchless Bride, all of that stuff is fucking great, but it's what's seen in that picture that makes it all worthwhile.

I've never owned (or even worn) a pair of cowboy boots... But, I must say, those look FAB!Rachael, you look adorable and beautiful all at the same time!Such a beautiful ceremony!Um, are those carrots? Yup! And they look awesome, don't they!!?Look at Kirk's eyes.According to Debra Gulbas, the photographer, "Rachael and Kirk wrote their vows with a compilation of music lines, and there wasn't a dry eye in the area. Their vows were heartfelt, emotional, and beautiful."Oh yeah! We did it!!Probably one of my favorite wedding pics ever!Yes, please! Fantastic wedding favor...Wow! Just wow! A MAZ ING groom's cake and simply stunning wedding cake! That's funny!!Don't know what to give your sig other as a wedding gift? How about a pistol? That's what Kirk gave to Rachael... AT THE WEDDING!! If this photograph was taken out of context, it could have several different meanings!Congratulations Rachael and Kirk! Definitely a enthusiastically awesome wedding!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Vintage, Steampunk Elopement... Quite Simply, a Very Cool Styled Shoot

I love this styled shoot. Like, everything about it! I love the "models" (they are girlfriend and boyfriend), I love the fantastic DIY elements, I love the creative photography... OMG! I really love everything about this shoot! Seriously, it's just so fun and clever! And, in typical BB form, I'm kind of obsessed with the cake. It's beautiful, and I found myself wishing for a fork so that I could dig in... Anyway, I love this post so much that I am going to let Veronica Rose of Roni Rose Photography tell you more about it the inspiration which lead to such fabulousness. (PS - Totally love how Roni starts the convo!!)

RRP: "Every year I like to set up a styled shoot that reflects what the modern wedding world has become; A place for personal expression rather than a traditional template that needs to be followed. I immediately had Serena and Kent in mind as models. Serena is my tattoo artist. She is one of the most artistic people I know. My inked skin is a testament to that. During our sessions together she's spoken so fondly of her boyfriend Matt. I knew immediately that I'd love him. Matt is a chef, and one of the sweetest men I've ever met."
RRP: "Our vision for the shoots we do are based around trying to create an artistic expression of the couple, and they made that so easy for us. These two just ooze joy and love! I also like to keep our styled shoots in the realm of attainability, rather than a large production that would be difficult to achieve during an actual elopement, so much of what you see is a DIY by yours truly."
Serena, you look beautiful! LOVE LOVE LOVE your red lipstick!!!
RRP: ..."the boutineer is made out of some of our old film negatives and flash bulbs."
I think it's fair to say that the camera likes Matt. And, a chef too? Oh dear God! Serena, you're a lucky girl!
Let's take this outside...
This is creepy awesome!
So cool!
RRP: "I used a pair of ape hanger handle bars to create an alter."
Right? Doesn't that cake just scream, "GET A FORK!!"?
Thank you Roni, for sharing such a kickass shoot with Bitchless Bride! I think we are all much cooler now.

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Rocky Mountain, Rustically Beautiful, Tented Colorado Wedding

When I heard the story of how Gloria and Maggie met, I immediately pictured them in a movie. Why? Well, outside of their cinema looks, their story is pretty awesome. You see, they originally met in 2006, stayed in touch, but didn't really get together until 2013! Seven years later! I know, right? It's like they knew that if they were to get together any sooner, then perhaps it wouldn't have resulted with this STUN NING Colorado wedding! Seriously, I know that if I met my hus any sooner, we definitely wouldn't have dated! See what I mean? Total movie material!

Anyway... Gloria and Maggie's wedding is truly spectacular. Aside from the mountain views, the thoughtful décor and the sheer joy and excitement, the deets have me in wedding planning glory. I love everything about the tablescape and the food!! So go... Get inspired, and enjoy this wedding as much as I did!
Love the sunflowers!!
Dying over the socks and boots under the wedding dress!
Meanwhile, down the road... Another bride gets dressed in her wedding gown.
I love the raw emotion captured in this photograph.
Let's go get married!
Love the ceremony program! And, I love how it doubles as a fan!
Holy shit! Look at the backdrop! It almost looks fake!
Oh yeah!!!
Such a FAB pick!
Bring it!!
I love how each napkin is a different pattern!
Simple and elegant.

Fantasy Friday ~ An Extravagant, Super Glitzy, Truly Stunning Styled Shoot

This striking styled shoot captures the elegance and opulence of an enchanting winter wedding, (yes, I know it's supposedly spring), but, you know what? I don't care! It's so fabulous and so glamorous, and frankly, it feels like fucking winter on the East coast, so why not post a GORGEOUS shoot to inspire my winter brides?!! Right? Anyway, this really is delicious. It's succulent and juicy, and easy on the eyes. And, OMG! Just wait until you see that stunning Ysa Makino wedding dress up close. You're totally going to freak!

Bridey, if you can incorporate any of these details into your wedding, it will be superb! Perhaps you'd like to have the amazing dessert bar with the monogrammed cookies, or a glitterly wedding cake, or even the shimmrey wedding dress... Whatever it may be, bridey, this shoot really is something to behold! Enjoy!
I love the black and white invites!
One day (and probably soon), I am going to own those shoes!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Mad Little Tea Party Wedding

A canary yellow and lace vintage wedding dress. OMG! Right? Absolutely stunning! I love that Danielle is wearing yellow, and I love that her fabulous yellow dress is tea length; perfect for their high tea dinner reception! Seriously, perfect! Right? So, this wedding was submitted to Bitchless Bride and described as, "...a loose Alice in Wonderland theme with a high tea dinner..." And, a truer description really is not possible. Just wait until you see all of the intricate details. OMG... Danielle and Darryl might have some of the most superb wedding favors/place "cards" I have ever seen!

Bridey, Danielle and Darryl really had the best of of everything. Aside from the beautiful outdoor ceremony, the gorgeous "high tea" dinner reception hosted at a cool ass barn, and the amazing canary yellow wedding dress, D+D are fucking funny. I love how their sense of humor seeps through the photographs, spilling all over the page. It's 100% clear they adore each other and have fun together! I mean, what more can you ask for on your wedding day and for life? Enjoy!
Danielle made her lavender bouquet (and her bridesmaids!) from flowers she got a local farm.
OB SESS ED with the dress and the shoes!
Notice how all of the 'maids are wearing something completely different?!!
Love.
Amazing shot!
Some serious personality emanating from this pic!

I can't! The top hats are too much! Right? Fucking love them!! And Francisco's veil? OMotherFuckingG! Amazing! But, it's the tuxedos that has me completely in awe... Francisco is wearing a silver Versace tux and Chris is wearing a sequined tux from Billionaire Italian Couture! I mean... WOW! And, just wait until you see their matching shoes! Truly FAB!!! Like, so fab, that I think I may need to own them immediately!

So, after crossing paths for years, these two finally decided that they needed to go on a date. And thank goodness they did or else I wouldn't have this truly glitzy, truly glamorous mansion wedding to share with you today. Oh! And, that life wouldn't be the same for them without each other! Bridey, there is so much inspiration for you to savor that I can't wait for you to scroll! So, enjoy!

Fantasy Friday ~ An Elegant, Timeless and Classic Melbourne Wedding with a Touch of Glamour

Meet Barbie and Ken. Just kidding! And, Madeleine and Luke aren't really dolls. But, seriously... They are both so easy on the eyes that I would have believed Silvia of Blumenthal Photography if she told me she was submitting Barbie and Ken's wedding. True story. Right? I mean, all Luke is missing is that twinkle on his tooth. Anyway... I'm going to let the B+G take it away. Because, bridey, not only are the details of this gorgeous Melbourne wedding fucking incredible (like IN CRED IBLE), but I love their love story and advice to future brides (and grooms) too.

Blumenthal Photography: What’s your love story? How did you meet originally and get together?Luke and I are high school sweethearts! We’ve had eyes on each other since we were 15 years old and we’re each other’s best friends, we know absolutely everything about each other and we’ve shared so many amazing memories growing up together. I remember sitting in class with him (he was always the class clown) and he would just make me laugh so much! I suppose nothing much has changed though. To this day, I don’t go a day without him putting me in hysterics.

Blumenthal Photography: How did you choose your dress?: I knew that I wanted to have some input when designing my gown. I had a really clear picture of what I wanted so I didn’t want to buy a gown off the rack. Luckily, I found Jane Hill and it seemed like we were absolutely perfect for each other! She loved my ideas for the dress and I also completely agreed with all of her input. It was my idea for the extravagant and billowing pleating at the bottom but Jane recommended that we make the bottom pleats completely detachable and this was the most perfect idea because I was actually able to move and dance at the reception!

Blumenthal Photography: What made the day really special and personal to you?: My bridesmaids were absolute angels and really made sure that everything went smoothly! I literally did not stress throughout the whole day because of how well they handled everything. My mum and sisters kept me sane and calm the whole day so I could just enjoy myself. My mum also made the day so special for me. In the morning, whilst I was getting ready, her and dad gave me a little white box. Inside were the most beautiful pair of earrings I’ve ever seen. I want to give them to my little girl on her wedding day, and hopefully this can be a new tradition for my own family.

I am DY ING over Madeleine's dress! And, I LOVE how the bottom pleats are completely detachable! No need for bustling, and super sexy!
Blumenthal Photography: How did the proposal go?: We absolutely love travelling and being in the outdoors, and we were in Bali when the proposal happened. I remember he took me down to the beach for a sunset stroll and I didn’t really think much of it. It was a gorgeous evening as well; the weather could not have been more perfect! The tide was out and the sun was almost setting behind the water and that’s when he surprised me by getting down on one knee and taking something out of his pocket. It completely caught me off guard! I had tears welling up in my eyes the whole time, and even now when I look back on it I can’t help but tear up a little.

Blumenthal Photography: What was important to you about your wedding? What were your priorities from the very beginning?: The most important thing to us was having a wedding that would survive through the decades. We wanted a ceremony where we could look back on the photos in years’ time and not cringe at any of our choices from the wedding dress to the décor! Hence why we kept the theme timeless and classic. I really think that when we’re flipping through our wedding album, we’ll be able to look back on these photos and still adore them!

Amazing photo...
Am I wrong? Totally Barbie and Ken! I don't know if I am jealous or if I want to be married to them.

Fantasy Friday ~ A Colorful New Year's Eve Wedding with Tons of Music, Glam and Plenty of Hot Pink!

This fabulous winter wedding just made it into publication on Bitchless Bride. I mean... Technically, it's still winter which is why I posted it, but it feels more like spring. Seriously, I had a whole other plan for today, but when I saw this smashing wedding submission, I had to share it with you, bridey, and immediately! Plus, I heard that Shannen and Craig were incredibly cool to work with, and based on the pics, it's quite obvious.

And, BTW... Can we just talk about how Craig is wearing a fucking hot pink vest and bow tie, and owning it! Right? Dude looks fantastic, and I love it! And, I think I love him! Bridey, there are piles and piles of inspiration strewn throughout Shannen and Craig's wedding. OMG, just wait until you see the centerpieces! Holy shit! And the cake... WOW! I think you'll see why I couldn't wait until next winter to post this wedding. You're welcome.
If I owned those shoes (or when I own these shoes!), I would wear them every day!
Um. Bling anybody?
That dress is extraordinary!
See what I mean? Craig is 100% OWNING the hot pink vest and bow tie!
Shannen, that's a damn sexy pic!
Fantastic shot!
It was 11 degrees outside when they took these photographs!
This could have been taken in the 1920s, right?
See the tambourines at the base of candelabra? They were for the guests to bring onto the dance floor when the party started! How cool is that?
This cake is so fucking fabulous! Right? I am totally in love with the hot pink flower! IN LOVE! And, the textures are simply astonishing!
Clearly a passionately romantic couple!!
Thank you for sharing your kickass wedding with Bitchless Bride! I love everything about your wedding day, and I think I even love you (both) too...

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Beautiful, Outdoor and Fabulous Jewish Wedding

Bridey, I HAVE to start with this question asked by the very talented Christy of Christy Whitehead Photography and answered by the beautiful bride, Jillian: Anything you want to add about your wedding day?: "While the vision for our day was ours, it was brought to life by our amazing vendors! They made the day stress free for us so we could really enjoy each other and our friends and families. So we want to send a huge thank you to everyone who helped this wedding be the dream we envisioned it would be." Um, Can I get an AMEN? When you hire the right vendors, and you're kind to them, then your wedding will be the dream you envisioned!!

All I have to say about this wedding is that it is truly gorgeous. Dripping with inspiration (and greenry), this wedding is a stunner! I LOVE how the B+G really took care of their guests. Go have a look!
The shoes! The dress! The bling! OH MY!!
Hello cleavage...
OMG! Talk about personalized!!
Go get her, Michael!!
Damn girl. LOVE IT!
When did you know they were THE ONE?: "I think for both of us it was when we stopped leaning on our family and friends for advice and instead felt the other one's opinion was the most important."
I love the patterned bridesmaid dresses!
LOL!!!
A MAZ ING!! Just amazing! That chuppah is unbelievable!
I love the DIY photo booth!
What was your theme or vision for your wedding day?: "... When we saw Epping Forest we looked at each other and instantly knew we needed to get married there. It is so romantic and there's so much natural beauty so I really wanted to keep that theme going. Instead of going with the traditional flower decorations I opted for lots of candlelight and greenery with antique furniture and some rustic elements. Earthy, romantic, warm, with a lot of personal touches. I wanted it to really reflect our personalities and I wanted our guests to feel at home."
WOW. Just WOW!
Was there anything you wish you would have done different?: "Actually....no! The weather was beautiful, everyone we love was there, andthanks to our wonderful vendors everything ran smoothly. It really was the perfect day. Though i do wish i had eaten more cake!!"
Jillian and Michael took such great care of their guests! So considerate!
Flash mob!!
What was the best part of your wedding day?: "We both love to dance so being able to be on the dance floor all night with our families and friends was really important to us. Our band was amazing and we didnt leave the dance floor all night!"
OMG... You two... You did it right, and recognized that trusting your vendors makes it all possible. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your FAB wedding with Bitchless Bride!

Fantasy Friday ~ ***Flashback*** A Graffiti Inspired Shoot

I just died and went to awesome heaven. Seriously, I am completely blown away by these incredibly beautiful, incredibly creative photographs. So, when I saw this in my inbox, I was thrilled. It was like a mixture of two of my favorite things... Graffiti and weddings. Bridey, please... ENJOY this fucking fabulously creative, amazingly gorgeous photo shoot... I know I did.

Notes from the submission: Shot at the Crewest Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, this themed shoot was a collaboration between Best Coast Photo and Orange Blossom Special Events inspired by the abundance of colorful graffiti and street art in areas like Venice Beach and throughout Los Angeles. Although derived from street art, we wanted to create a look that at once edgy and urban, yet modern and sophisticated. A fantastic team was assembled to bring together all of the elements, which included a custom-made graffiti cake by the amazing Santa Monica'sVanilla Bake Shop, details by Mr. Caballero Creative and a gorgeous dress by Miss Tashina.

I cannot get over the shoes! Talk about something blue? Right? They are a perfect compliment to this absolutely SICK wedding dress.

Like... I know they're models, but can they get any hotter? Or more cool? I think not.

Check out that cool bow tie!

I love the mix of graffiti with the formal place setting...

I am melting over this cake. Forever ago, I used to make wedding cakes, and I cannot get over the simplicity and depth of this truly original, amazingly cool cake! I mean it... This is definitely going on my cake Pinterest board...

Oh my God! Look how unique and fantastic that vase is? It's so simple, but so cool because of its simplicity.

I mean... LOOK how fucking cool they are? I am obsessed with this shoot!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ An Amazing Avenger Themed, Seriously Kickass, Mostly Etsy, Indiana Wedding

I probably should have called this, "A Kickass Esty Wedding Rockin' an Avenger Theme". Aside from the cake (although some elements of the cake are via Etsy!), the venue and the photographer, I think it's safe to say that pretty much everything else was the DIY fabulousness of the bride + Etsy. I mean... WOW! If you're that kind of girl, then you are officially my superhero! Although, I totally got my hus this ('cause I'm super classy) for Valentine's Day, and it's obvi from Etsy! But, that's about as far as I go. That said, I'm wholeheartedly impressed with Erica and James' theme and creativeness! Just wait until you scroll, bridey. This wedding is really pretty amazing.

But, before you scroll, can we just talk about the bridesmaids shoes? They're wearing COMIC BOOK SHOES! Which of course the bride MADE (Hold please... Can I get a,"holy shit!"?), not too mention the fucking FAB bridal bouquet that Erica also made... OMG. Anyway... I could blab on and on (must be the booze)... So, go! Enjoy this cool, fun and exceptionally awesome wedding of Erica and James!

STFU! Love!!! Yeah... Comic book shoes!! WOW!
Ummmmm. HOLY.FUCKING.SHIT. That's incredible!!! WOW! A bouquet made out of comic books, with a l'il glitz and glam!
OMG. You have no idea how good this looks to me right now.
That's one hell of a boutonniere! Super impressive!
Bridesmaids, bouquets and books! Oh, and Avengers necklaces that Erica gave her 'maids too!
Can we just talk about how the groomsmen are wearing vests that are all a different color? I mean... I get it...  Colors to represent Iron Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Hulk and Captain America, but it's also quite awesome!
How cool is that?
Such a FAB idea!
That cake! It's "superhuman". Sorry, couldn't help it!
Greatest shot ever! Although, I woudn't want to throw that GORGE bouquet!
Oh wait! THIS is the best shot ever!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Truly Beautiful, Tented and Fabulous, Australian Wedding

OMG. Is that a field of lilacs? Probably not, because lilacs don't grow in fields, but whatever they are, they're purple and gorgeous, and so are the B+G, Lauren and Chris (well, the B+G are not purple, but... You know what I mean!). Bridey, I wish I attended this wedding. Not only was it in Australia, a country I haven't visited, but every single detail is dazzling! Like, jaw-droppingly gorgeous. When you see the tent, bridey, you literally won't know which end is up. Look up, and you'll gaze at the dangling flowers cascading from the "ceiling". Look down, and you'll see a beautiful, soft palette of magnificent flowers.

Lauren and Chris clearly worked with an incredibly talented group of vendors focused on bringing their dream to life. Bridey, if you hire the right vendors, and trust them, then your wedding will be amazing too! So, enjoy this stunner, and go get some inspiration!
Lovin' everything about this bouquet...
Seriously? These bridesmaids are stunning. Like, it's almost not fair!! Dammmmmnnnnn, girls!
Hi Chris. You're handsome.
The décor for the ceremony is so elegant and beautiful.
Love the way the B+G are beaming!!

Fantasy Friday ~ No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem... A Laid Back, Beautiful, Beach Wedding in Mexico

"No frills or fancy things." Said no bride ever... Right??? But, Samantha did!! I know, I love her already! She and Joaquin strayed from a traditional wedding reception and opted for a lovely, intimate dinner with friends and family to celebrate their nuptials. Once everybody filled their bellies with delicious food and drink, they moved the party to Gitano for some music and dancing. How fun is that?? As a couple who love to travel and drink amazing wine, sounds like the perfect evening! Oh, a cool l'il side note? Their wedding day was the anniversary of the day they met four years earlier. I mean...

Samantha and Joaquin wanted a wedding that was casual and comfortable. As a couple who truly compliment each other, Joaquin is quite the joker, and Samantha is a bit more serious, their wedding captured who they are as a couple without the stress or bullshit of conventional wedding planning. And these two? Didn't grow up in Mexico... This was a destination wedding! Joaquin grew up in Milwaukee and Samantha grew up in a small town in Minnesota. Didn't see that coming, did you? Neither did I which totally makes me love them even more!! Such great inspiration in this beautiful wedding! Enjoy!

Holy shit would I love to be there RIGHT NOW!!! Looks beautiful!

Love this pic of Samantha!
TOTALLY obsessed with Samantha's dress. You look gorgeous!!!
Joaquin, you're looking quite dapper!
I could have designed this card myself...
When you're getting married on the beach, shoes are definitely optional! Those anklets? Fantastic!!!
Hi. WOW.
Samantha, Joaquin. You're a damn sexy couple.
Seriously, all I see are the sparks flying!
Love. Love. Love.
A pre-cocktail, cocktail? Don't mind if I do!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Totally FAB, Industrial Glam Styled Shoot

If I were to look inward, I would definitely see a few themes coursing through my veins. One, I am totally in a Kate Spade place. My biz card holder is KS and says "let's do lunch", (they didn't have one that said, "let's do booze"), I have been rockin' some serious KS accessories, and I've been dancing around in some glittery KS shoes. And, including this fucking KICK ASS Kate Spade, industrial glam shoot, this is my second KS themed something posted in the last week... The other theme? I'm homesick for Chicago. Seriously, this month alone, I have posted three Chicago weddings. Perhaps it's because I am drawn to the beauty of the city or maybe it's coincidence, but either way... That's what's going on with me.

Anyway, there is so much color, and texture and pure electricity captured this shoot that I really won't be able to give it justice unless I shut up and let you start scrolling. I can't even tell you my favorite aspect of these pics because every.single.photograph is sensational. I mean, bridey... Talk about inspiration! Enjoy this one because it's FABULOUS!WOW! These invitations are from Wedding Paper Divas! Love the stripes!!
Can I get an OMFG? WOW! Oh my fucking God! The dress, the shoes, the textures! OH MY!
I cannot get over this bouquet! So gorgeous!
Again with the stripes! SO awesome! And, I love the cumberbund!!!
I seriously don't know who's prettier!
I love the rawness of the space combined with elegance of the chairs...
STUN NING table! LOVE the gold cloth!! And the pink! And the MR. & MRS. I just love the whole thing!
I am a stripes fanatic (you should see my closet, probably just like Kate Spade!), and the table runner is so amazing!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Kickass, Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower!! OMFG!!!

Holy shit, bridey. Just wait! This is the only bridal shower I have ever posted on Bitchless Bride (aside from this styled shoot), and it's awesome! Um, it's Kate Spade inspired so OF COURSE it's going to be awesome! And, you know what? It better be awesome. Because the bride, Stacy? Well, she and her best friend own a wedding rental shop. Yeah... So, if it sucked, then it would make everybody in the hospitality industry look bad.

Bridey, if your 'maids are going to throw you a bridal shower, then direct them to this post for inspiration! I mean, the food, the décor, and even the bridal shower BINGO are amazing! Seriously, there are so many little details to revel in encapsulated in this post, that I just had to share it with you. Enjoy!!!
Lovin' the black balloons and the girls holding hands...
Fucking FABULOUS favor!!! Gimmie!!
I've mentioned how much I love a sequined cloth, and this gold cloth is totally getting me all hot and bothered!
Hello mimosa bar, I think I love you.
These FAB cookies were made by the bride's soon to be sister-in-law! WOW!
Oh! And the naked cake was made by her soon to be mother-in-law! This girl is certainly marrying into a "sweet" family. Sorry... It was there, and I took it!
OMG. See the tray of bacon? Mine!
STFU. Mini pancakes with pom poms!!
Love the shoes, and I love the Kate Spade inspired "Bridal Bingo"!
Note the nail polish, watch and dress. Holy Kate Spade!!!
Thank you for sharing this awesome Kate Spade inspired bridal shower with Bitchless Bride. Tons of cool ideas to replicate!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Great Gatsby Inspired, Dance Your Ass Off Kind of Wedding

Bridey, you know that saying, "Have fun, but not too much fun!"? Well, it's rare that I would use that to describe a wedding (sorry, but, the truth hurts), but, Regan and Troy's wedding? Well, I'm pretty sure the guests had a pile of fun, if not too much. Aside from the choreographed dancing, complete with costumes (Regan is a dance instructor), and the tons and tons of decorative sequins, I love that the B+G trusted their florist to take their Gatsby theme and run with it. Like, they gave him NO other details. They literally had know idea what to expect as they walked into the venue. True fucking story! WHOA!! And the florist? Well, he did not disappoint!

Seriously, can you imagine? It was just as much of a surprise to Regan and Troy as it was to everyone else! I mean.... Applause to the B+G! Bridey, I'm certainly not saying that you shouldn't have any input, but it is absolutely imperative to trust the vendors you hire, and that is exactly what Regan and Troy did! And, OMFG, just wait until you see the décor! A MAZ ING!! Enjoy! And don't forget to soak in each and every detail of this FAB wedding!!

This photograph makes my eyes well with tears.
So cool...
Regan, you are stunning! And, I love the dark purple calla lilies!!
There's my city again... Sweet home Chicago!
I mean... The dresses and the sign are so FAB!!
Oh yeah!!!!
I have been pulled over more times that I should admit publicly, and looking at those GORGEOUS cars behind the signing book table, I feel my knees getting weak.
Check out the stacked cigar boxes in the middle of the escort card table! OMG!

The Truth Hurts Tuesday ~ The BEST Advice from the BEST Wedding Vendors in Boston!

Bridey, today's post is like hitting the jackpot of wedding planning. SERIOUSLY. If you are recently engaged or are in the midst of planning your wedding, stop what you're doing, and focus because you are about to be educated by the BEST in the wedding biz! I asked some of my absolute FAVORITE vendors in the Boston area to share the best piece of advice about planning a wedding, and these peeps? Well, they completely spilled the beans. I mean... There is so much wedding planning goodness in this post, that I could fucking chew it!!!

I rarely say cheesy shit like this, but this is a must read!! So, are you ready to learn? Ready to say, "Thank you, Bitchless Bride!!" Good! You're welcome!

Wedding Planners:

When you are newly engaged, you tend to become inundated with information overload and it can be daunting to say the least.  My advice to newly-engaged couples is to forgo the route of hiring all of your vendors until you’ve secured the right, professional, experienced wedding planner. Some couples feel it’s best to hire a “day of” coordinator and do the rest themselves, only to learn how much money could have been easily saved by avoiding costly mistakes and uneducated decisions along the way. The right planner should be your guide, your educator, your confidant, your representative along the way and you need to put your trust into this person as they do this every day and truly look out for your best interests from the start.

Paula Marrero ~ Marrero Events

My advice to new brides: Don't panic, it's all overwhelming at first but it's important to book the top 3 first-top priorities (if you're not working with a planner) are to find your venue, photographer and band--then breathe!  I also advise brides to wait to design the space until about 6 months before the wedding... You'll be able to have a couple months thinking about ideas, pinning on Pinterest , etc... I find that so many of my clients go in with one idea and once they've relaxed and see what is out there or trending in their wedding year they change their idea of what their wedding looks like--so ultimately they get what they want instead of what they thought they wanted--big difference!

Invitations:

Invitations are the introduction of your wedding to your friends and family; they set the tone for the event. You can’t just get a quote as there are a lot of factors to consider such as quantity, quality, type of inserts, type of print, etc. There is a lot more involved then most people realize. So, plan accordingly.

Mara Weiner ~ Allure Invitations

Cake:

Be your own "bride" ...don't worry about what family, in-laws, friends & co-workers want for YOUR WEDDING. Follow what YOU have wanted & dreamed about.

Paula Kirrane ~ Icing on the Cake

Entertainment:

Once your venue is booked, the next step is to lock in your entertainment. In order to get the best DJ or band out there, you have to book well in advance. Remember, first and foremost? Your guests are going to remember if they had a good  time. That’s why good entertainment is vital.

Always ask your entertainment vendor about their other recommended services. This is how you get the best deals without making a laundry list of phone calls. They may already have what you need and could save you time and money without sacrificing quality.

Mike Amado ~ Entertainment Specialists

Photographers:

Lately couples are asking me if they should do the "first look". My answer is always YES! The first reveal is always so sweet. The moment is far more emotion and allows for a more intimate/private moment with just the couple.

Some brides envision this grand moment when they are walking down the aisle, and the groom is sobbing… However, in reality, in a traditional formal setting with 200 people looking at you… The groom often looks like a deer in head lights. Not at all the magical moment you think it will be! So yes, do a first look!

Don’t do a winter e-session! People look freezing, and are super uncomfortable. Nothing like having dirty snow and branches coming out of everyone's heads! Wait until the spring when the temperatures are higher, and the trees start to bloom. I highly suggest April-November.

Cinematography:

1. Make sure that your photographer and videographer work well as a team. Even better, choose a team where your photographer and videographer have worked together and enjoy the experience.

2. Ask your prospective wedding film maker how they operate during the wedding day. Will they have lights on their cameras? Will they be on the dance floor circling the couple during the first dance? Will they stand behind the officiant during the ceremony - Or will they stake out spots based on experience and fade into the decor?

3. Ask your toasters to limit toasts to under 5 minutes. 3 is even better. There’s not much they can say (that won’t be dumb or embarrassing) after a couple of minutes.

4. Invite your guests to leave their phones and cameras in their pockets or purses. You’re paying for pros to document your wedding - don’t let the amateurs get in the way!

5. When considering wedding cinematography, check out the sound  as well as the images of potential pros. Capturing pristine sound of your grandfather’s blessing and knowing how to integrate it with music and image, is a complex art form. Don’t settle for pretty pictures if you already have a photographer you love. When it comes to film making, sound is 60% or more.

6. If you desperately want a top notch film maker to capture your wedding, and have a limited budget, consider one of the following:

a. Grab pics from the HD / 24 Frames per second of the video capture and forego the photographer.

b. Hire the film maker you want and see if you can work out a payment plan that works for you.

c. Opt for the best film maker you can afford, ask them to produce a short highlights now, and wait until you’ve financially recovered to have them edit the feature film.

Florist:

The Best way to trim your budget is to trim you guest list (it literally makes every line item more affordable - period, the end)! (AMEN!!!!!!)

If you "absolutely love and have to have peonies" - know that you absolutely MUST select a wedding date in May or early-June!

Bring as few people to each and every appointment that you book ... the less opinions, the less stressed out you will be!

~ Anonymous Florist

And there you have it... You're welcome, bridey!!! Now, all you have to do is listen to the professionals trying to help you.
