Styled Shoots

Fantasy Friday ~ A Vintage, Steampunk Elopement... Quite Simply, a Very Cool Styled Shoot

I love this styled shoot. Like, everything about it! I love the "models" (they are girlfriend and boyfriend), I love the fantastic DIY elements, I love the creative photography... OMG! I really love everything about this shoot! Seriously, it's just so fun and clever! And, in typical BB form, I'm kind of obsessed with the cake. It's beautiful, and I found myself wishing for a fork so that I could dig in... Anyway, I love this post so much that I am going to let Veronica Rose of Roni Rose Photography tell you more about it the inspiration which lead to such fabulousness. (PS - Totally love how Roni starts the convo!!)

RRP: "Every year I like to set up a styled shoot that reflects what the modern wedding world has become; A place for personal expression rather than a traditional template that needs to be followed. I immediately had Serena and Kent in mind as models. Serena is my tattoo artist. She is one of the most artistic people I know. My inked skin is a testament to that. During our sessions together she's spoken so fondly of her boyfriend Matt. I knew immediately that I'd love him. Matt is a chef, and one of the sweetest men I've ever met."
RRP: "Our vision for the shoots we do are based around trying to create an artistic expression of the couple, and they made that so easy for us. These two just ooze joy and love! I also like to keep our styled shoots in the realm of attainability, rather than a large production that would be difficult to achieve during an actual elopement, so much of what you see is a DIY by yours truly."
Serena, you look beautiful! LOVE LOVE LOVE your red lipstick!!!
RRP: ..."the boutineer is made out of some of our old film negatives and flash bulbs."
I think it's fair to say that the camera likes Matt. And, a chef too? Oh dear God! Serena, you're a lucky girl!
Let's take this outside...
This is creepy awesome!
So cool!
RRP: "I used a pair of ape hanger handle bars to create an alter."
Right? Doesn't that cake just scream, "GET A FORK!!"?
Thank you Roni, for sharing such a kickass shoot with Bitchless Bride! I think we are all much cooler now.

Fantasy Friday ~ An Extravagant, Super Glitzy, Truly Stunning Styled Shoot

This striking styled shoot captures the elegance and opulence of an enchanting winter wedding, (yes, I know it's supposedly spring), but, you know what? I don't care! It's so fabulous and so glamorous, and frankly, it feels like fucking winter on the East coast, so why not post a GORGEOUS shoot to inspire my winter brides?!! Right? Anyway, this really is delicious. It's succulent and juicy, and easy on the eyes. And, OMG! Just wait until you see that stunning Ysa Makino wedding dress up close. You're totally going to freak!

Bridey, if you can incorporate any of these details into your wedding, it will be superb! Fantasy Friday ~ A Stunning, Bohemian Brunch Inspired, Italian Villa Inspired, Super Romantic, Styled Shoot

I know it's just the way the sun is hitting her face, but I love how it appears as though the bride has two different colored eyes (and like she's rockin' some seriously blue eyeliner!). SO fabulous! And, even though I know they're models, they really make a super hot couple! Right? And that flower crown she's wearing is absolutely spectacular!

Anyway, bridey, if you're looking for some kickass wedding inspiration, be it a lovely bohemian brunch (with a delicious looking pancake wedding cake!!), Italian villa or undoubtedly romantic, then you've just hit the mother load. This styled shoot is just cool. Like, really, really cool with amazing details that are so good, you'll want to eat them!
That invitation is exceptional! I love the chalkboardy feel, and the font!
Who doesn't love a sunflower? Exquisite bouquet!
Holy WOW!
How cool would it be to actually sit and dine at this table celebrating a marriage?!!
Okay. I think it's fair to say that I have a crush on the bride. Lovin' the makeup!!
My mouth seriously just watered! I may have to go make some pancakes!!
Don't cut it! Just pour the syrup together!

Fantasy Friday ~ ***Flashback*** A Graffiti Inspired Shoot

I just died and went to awesome heaven. Seriously, I am completely blown away by these incredibly beautiful, incredibly creative photographs. So, when I saw this in my inbox, I was thrilled. It was like a mixture of two of my favorite things... Graffiti and weddings. Bridey, please... ENJOY this fucking fabulously creative, amazingly gorgeous photo shoot... I know I did.

Notes from the submission: Shot at the Crewest Gallery in downtown Los Angeles, this themed shoot was a collaboration between Best Coast Photo and Orange Blossom Special Events inspired by the abundance of colorful graffiti and street art in areas like Venice Beach and throughout Los Angeles. Although derived from street art, we wanted to create a look that at once edgy and urban, yet modern and sophisticated. A fantastic team was assembled to bring together all of the elements, which included a custom-made graffiti cake by the amazing Santa Monica'sVanilla Bake Shop, details by Mr. Caballero Creative and a gorgeous dress by Miss Tashina.

I cannot get over the shoes! Talk about something blue? Right? They are a perfect compliment to this absolutely SICK wedding dress.

Like... I know they're models, but can they get any hotter? Or more cool? I think not.

Check out that cool bow tie!

I love the mix of graffiti with the formal place setting...

I am melting over this cake. Forever ago, I used to make wedding cakes, and I cannot get over the simplicity and depth of this truly original, amazingly cool cake! I mean it... This is definitely going on my cake Pinterest board...

Oh my God! Look how unique and fantastic that vase is? It's so simple, but so cool because of its simplicity.

I mean... LOOK how fucking cool they are? I am obsessed with this shoot!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Totally FAB, Industrial Glam Styled Shoot

If I were to look inward, I would definitely see a few themes coursing through my veins. One, I am totally in a Kate Spade place. My biz card holder is KS and says "let's do lunch", (they didn't have one that said, "let's do booze"), I have been rockin' some serious KS accessories, and I've been dancing around in some glittery KS shoes. And, including this fucking KICK ASS Kate Spade, industrial glam shoot, this is my second KS themed something posted in the last week... The other theme? I'm homesick for Chicago. Seriously, this month alone, I have posted three Chicago weddings. Perhaps it's because I am drawn to the beauty of the city or maybe it's coincidence, but either way... That's what's going on with me.

Anyway, there is so much color, and texture and pure electricity captured this shoot that I really won't be able to give it justice unless I shut up and let you start scrolling. I can't even tell you my favorite aspect of these pics because every.single.photograph is sensational. I mean, bridey... Talk about inspiration! Enjoy this one because it's FABULOUS!WOW! These invitations are from Wedding Paper Divas! Love the stripes!!
Can I get an OMFG? WOW! Oh my fucking God! The dress, the shoes, the textures! OH MY!
I cannot get over this bouquet! So gorgeous!
Again with the stripes! SO awesome! And, I love the cumberbund!!!
I seriously don't know who's prettier!
I love the rawness of the space combined with elegance of the chairs...
STUN NING table! LOVE the gold cloth!! And the pink! And the MR. & MRS. I just love the whole thing!
I am a stripes fanatic (you should see my closet, probably just like Kate Spade!), and the table runner is so amazing!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A French Inspired Styled Shoot with an Adorable Dollface Persian Cat

Are you totally DY ING over those hot pink hydrangea arrangements? The gold chargers and flatware? OMG! Right? Well, it only gets better, bridey. This styled shoot is so fabulous, it will absolutely leave you begging for more! True story. (Sounds dirty, but I swear it's not a boudoir shoot!!) However, if you're a fan of anything sparkly and basically awesome, then go pour yourself some prosecco, turn on some indie rock and indulge! Seriously, there are sequins, tutus, gold, hot pink and a fucking dollface Persian cat for Gods sake! How could you not??

Anyway, bridey, if you are lucky enough to incorporate any of these details into your wedding, then you're my fucking hero. Especially, if you are somehow able to dress up a dollface Persian cat and have her walk down the aisle! I mean, who needs dogs when you have a cat??
Yes, that dress is for a little girl, but I'd totally rock it, and own it baby!
Sequins and stunning bouquets. What else do we need? Nothing!!
LOVE the hand painted table and the mismatched, overstuffed chairs! The bench is a nice touch too!
A tented, shabby chic chandelier is like the icing on the cake for me.
Stunning.
The escort cards were DIY garden pots with forks to hold each card... WOW!
Yes please!!
That's Pillsbury, and she's gorgeous!
Cutest pic ever!! And, can we talk about that tutu? Holy shit!!!
I'm freezing right now, but I wouldn't turn down that pink lemonade martini! Right???
Cheers! Thank you for sharing this kickass styled shoot with Bitchless Bride!!

Fantasy Friday ~ An Inspirational, Sexy, Fall Styled Shoot

I'm a big fan of styled shoots. Perhaps it's because I planned weddings and did not design weddings (I mean, I had a hand in the design, but usually I left it up to the experts!) that makes me appreciate how much goes work goes into the process, but no matter what, styled shoots are a fucking awesome resource when it comes to wedding inspiration. See those Mr. & Mrs. mugs? Handmade. The lace-covered burlap runners? Handmade. The leaves on the table? Not handmade. But, they are from the trees on the location of the shoot. And the dishes, jars, and candle holders? Thrift stores. I know, right?!!

Bridey, OMG! Just wait until you see the stunning wedding dress the model is wearing. And, it's not one of those dresses that will only look good on a model. I can totally see it on women of all shapes and sizes (well, those of us who aren't afraid to show off our curves!). Anyway, if you are planning a fall of 2016 (or 2017) wedding, you're welcome. You're welcome to steal any and all inspiration! Have fun!

Um, this why I said it was a "sexy" fall styled shoot! Girl has got some GORGE legs!!OMFG... The wedding dress with it's intricate beading and chiffon train! AMAZE!! And the flowers are sensational! Holy shit! The warmth encapsulated in this photograph is intoxicating. Can't you just taste that pecan pie?! Those cinnamon dusted salted caramel and raspberry macaroons? Dessert and a hot toddy? Um, yes please!I mean... Holy shit with the dress, right? Thank you for sharing this beautifully constructed styled shoot with Bitchless Bride!!

Fantasy Friday ~ Dark, Moody and Fabulous... A Victorian-esk, Gothic Inspired Shoot

Bridey, I think we've all seen quite a few black, red and white weddings, right? Be it in real life, blog posts, magazines, etc. And, while I love that color scheme, I love it even more when that same color scheme gets messy. Yeah, I love it when a little darkness gets thrown into this pretty palette. And today? Well, it's super messy... Actually, more like super awesome. I mean, just look at that dessert spread! Seriously, these talented vendors were able to convey their kickass vision through a dessert table! Now, that's pretty fucking cool if you ask me!

If you're looking to come to the dark side (sorry, couldn't help it!), then take a walk with me. Come... Let's breathe in the incredible metallic details, touch the gorgeous flowers and dig into that dessert display. Thinking about not wearing white? Then check out the stunning purple wedding dress. Bridey, this one is too good not to take in...
Loving the invitations and menu!Almost too pretty to eat. Almost.STFU! A MAZ ING! Something super cool? The flowers on the cake are made of wafer paper and painted with chocolate. WOW!!One of my favorite desserts in the whole world is a black forest verrine! I'd be in food heaven with both of those delicious treats!Yeah... Handmade faux flowers. I know, right? I had no idea either!!The contrast between the gold charger plate and the table are FAB!Care for a candy apple? And, btw... Can we just talk about how stunning her makeup is? I need this dress. I want this dress. This black wedding gown (by Camille La Vie) has a beaded bodice with a tulle skirt and purple underlay. Holy FABULOUS!Thank you for sharing this kickass styled shoot with Bitchless Bride. Tons of cool inspriation to play with!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Glamorous, Sexy, James Bond Inspired Shoot!

Well, hello there handsome. Seriously, doesn't it look like he's about to take a Dunhill (cigarette) out of his breast pocket and light it up? I know! Super Bondy... If he lit up, this pic would take on a whole other feel with its amazingly smoky atmosphere, right? Okay, clearly, I am wishing that I too could take a Dunhill out of my pocket, but that's not gonna happen (well, unless I am presented with a delicious shaken martini).

Anyway, this kickass styled shoot took place at Vehicle Vault, a vintage car museum in Parker, Colorado. How cool is that?!! Just wait until you see the car they used! Holy shit! It's fucking awesome! Bridey, there's a ton of super cool treats in this styled shoot! I mean, there are Bond girls!! And, these Bond girls are rockin' gold body paint! Can you imagine if your bridesmaids were Bond girls with gold body paint?!! Yeah, kickass!! So, enjoy!!!!

I love a round menu card! So fab! And, I'm completely obsessed with the super fance font!Bond girl! Body paint! LOVE IT! Brideys, seriously, I think you should make your bridesmaids Bond girls!Yum.... I'll take anything shaken these days!Um, the cake and the car. Holy shit! Yeah, that's a 1954 Mercedes Gullwing. WOW! Yeah, these awesome vendors centered the vignette around this kickass car!I'm loving the shimmery red and gold décor!Damn, it's like all of my favorite things... Cocktails, gambling and dessert. I see no problem with that. Do you?

Fantasy Friday ~ A Badass Halloween-Inspired Styled Shoot

I love this shoot. I love this shoot for all of the stunning details, the gothic vibe, the "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil" inspiration, and because of the model groom, Brandon Flowers. Just kidding! But, I swear to God this guy looks so much like him, that I about fell over when I saw the pics for the first time. What, bridey? You don't know who he is? WTF!? He's the lead singer of The Killers! Duh... I LOVE The Killers! Anyway... This styled shoot is damn magnificent. It's badass. It's borderline creepy (in an awesome way of course!).

Bridey, if you're looking to rock something different than a white wedding (um, just wait until you see the black wedding cake!), then allow yourself to get lost in this pile of inspiration, "dripping with decadent details and tons of vivacious color"! Yeah, totally had to steal that line from photographer, April Amodeo! Enjoy this masterpiece you are about to embark on, bridey, brought to you by an incredible group of vendors. I totally did!

Check out this groom, and now go Google image pics of Brandon Flowers."The bride was adorned in a sumptuous headpiece with hand-sculpted red satin roses and black lace-covered fans sparkling with Swarovski Crystals."That cake is absolutely phenomenal! I'm completely obessed with it!Stunning and vibrant!Fuck me, that's an amazing bouquet. I love all of the different texture elements here... Fantasy Friday ~ A Styled Shoot - Steampunk & Urban Awesomeness

I'm freaking out over this cake! Right? Aren't you? It's so cool, and uber detailed that I can't stand it! I mean... There are dragon flies, keys and gears. Not to mention the magenta(ish) and turquoise colors... WOW! Last year, I posted a fucking amazing steampunk wedding, although instead of a "traditional" steampunk wedding cake, the B+G rocked a dragon... wedding cake. Holy shit! Either way, I'm completely impressed. Seriously, imagine if this (or a dragon) was in the middle of the room, bridey, just staring at your guest?!!! Talk about breaking out of the box! I'd say the box would officially be squashed!

Bridey, if steampunk isn't your thing, who cares! There is so much inspiration to be taken from this post, steampunk and otherwise. Fantasy Friday ~ When Fashion Meets Cupcakes Meets Super Glam Inspiration

Look at her lipstick. Shimmery, gold and delicious! Yeah, yeah... I know it's the glitter from the cupcake, but a girl can dream, right? And, as you all know, when I dream, I usually dream in cake and cupcakes. So when I received this styled shoot which was photographed in a cupcake factory, I knew I had to share it with you, bridey! Fashion and cupcakes? Fuck yeah! But, this is even better than it sounds... There is so much inspiration in this cool ass shoot, that if you are going for a metallic theme or a vintage glam theme, or don't know if you even want a theme for your wedding, then scroll down!

Fantasy Friday ~ Sip-Sip Hooray! A Fabulous, Glamorous, Same Sex, Styled Bridal Shower Shoot

I fucking love this styled shoot, bridey! Like, LOVE IT! Not only is there a ton of inspiration for you to feed off of, but it just goes to show you what a group of talented wedding vendors can do when they collaborate without boundaries (the boundaries sometimes being, you, bridey). When Laura Dee of Laura Dee Photography submitted this, she said that, “The idea behind this shoot was, "If Carrie Bradshaw married Charlotte York, how would that all look?" Well, I think they nailed it! It’s super glam, super fabulous and super kickass.

Seriously, there are so many things I love about this shoot, but if I had to name a few, I would mention that I am totally OB SESSED with the build-your-own cocktail bar! I mean, the moonshine will definitely knock you on your ass, but who cares! When you have some awesome food to go with it (just wait until you see the GORGE cakes!), what’s a ‘lil moonshine… Right? That's what I always say... Also, sequined backdrop for the photo booth definitely got my attention! This entire shoot can be easily incorporated into modernly FAB wedding or shower. So, go enjoy this one… I sure did!

Awwww.... That's tater tot, the one eyed pug. Um, yeah... You know my obsession with cake, and these are fucking awesome!Sip-sip hooray!!!! Love this idea! Love the bright menus! This is an incredible shot. I mean... It's so fucking amazing!Everybody is having such a great time. Fantasy Friday ~ A Seriously FABULOUS, 1920s Styled Shoot...

Bridey, you’re going to see A LOT of this gorgeous 1920s styled shoot. Not just on Bitchless Bride, but if I had to guess, you’re bound to see this shoot on several sites. And normally I would choose to dodge a submission knowing that it is going to be on a gazillion blogs, but honestly? It’s just too good! I simply couldn’t walk away… As a wedding planner, as a woman and a little bit of a diva, I just had to share this with you as soon as I saw it come across my inbox. Seriously, just wait until you scroll down and see for yourself.

Sooooo… This group of gifted vendors got together and created the shoot in the India House, located in the “stone street historic district” of New York City. The India House was established in 1914, and even has its own landmark building. How FAB is that? And, the goal? To feel like this wedding took place in the 1920s. Know what? They totally nailed it! By the time you’re done taking it all in, you will feel like you just walked out of the Great Gatsby.  So, enough outta me… Enjoy this breathtaking shoot!

Holy shit... If looks could kill...What's that like? Being beautiful, and having the most stunning eyes? Right?Wow. Just wow. Look at that headpiece! Hot damn. That's hot! Amazing dress. Simply stunning!Does anybody else feel the sex vibe emanating from this photograph? I mean... This pic totally gets me going! "Oh... you want me to get comfortable and have a cocktail while I wait for her to change? Sounds good." That dress! That hair!!! OMG!!Here they go again! Damn sexy.ANOTHER amazing dress... Bridey, if you're looking for a Great Gatsby feel for your wedding... I think you just got a ton of inspiration!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ An Engagement Shoot with Some Serious Style

You know those couples that you can just tell you're going to like? Well, Andrea and Travis are certainly one of those couples. They are incredibly cute, and have a sense of humor! Holy shit, what a concept?!! Right? I am so over the stuffy, boring engagement shoots. Those suck. Those are boring. Those are vanilla. Bridey, why not indulge your quirky side and have some fun? Don't let your humdrum, uneventful engagement shoot be a glimpse of how your wedding is going to be! Seriously, bridey, if I received a save-the-date from Andrea and Travis, I would look forward to their wedding. I would automatically think that their wedding would be entertaining somehow based solely on what I see in these fun photos!!

Brooke, of Brooke Taylor Studios said that, "I just had to share this adorably hilarious couple with the world. Andrea and Travis are fun, quirky and so absolutely in love. We created a special styled picnic engagement shoot with all local Seattle products (cheese, sparkling wine, apples, etc). We couldn't have expected to have such a fun time laughing and shooting right as the rain started. The couple decided to push through the rain and I am glad we did because we got a lot of great images of them and they couldn't be happier with the results." I completely agree, Brooke!

Andrea, you look beautiful! Love this pic!! Too cool for school!I'm sorry, but this is too fucking funny!!! OMG! He proposed! LOL!!! BTW... Love how Andrea's foot is in the air! They really are a cute couple!Drop me and your done, Travis!!

"Real" Wedding Wednesday ~ A Little Romance, A Little Elegance and Very Little Drama

The talented group of vendors that created this stunning styled shoot said that their inspiration was "romantic elegance". And holy shit did they achieve it!! But, my inspiration? Stunning photographs minus the drama. I wanted to show you a glimpse of what hiring amazing vendors (and trusting their ability) can do for your wedding, bridey, but I didn't feel like the drama today. Because this planner needs a break from the reality of wedding planning even if it is for just one post... I need a break from discussing wedding budgets, complicated family dynamics and overbearing MOBs (mother of the bride). I need a break from being needed. And, I bet I'm not alone. Your vendors probably could use a break too...

That's why I decided to show you a cool ass styled shoot rather than a real wedding today. I wanted some eye candy without the side of hysteria. I wanted to see and share pretty pictures without being involved emotionally. I wanted to show you what a group of amazing vendors can do without limitations and micro management. So, bridey, I invite you to breathe in these gorgeous pics, let go of the drama in your life (even if it's for just a bit), enjoy the creativity of these imaginative vendors and be inspired!
I swear, this royal blue is sparkling! I am OBSESSED with the tree! Look down...
The royal blue linen, the pattered accoutrements and even a striking table number. Oh my!
I love the glittery ribbon around the base of the centerpiece.
I didn't expect the rustic garden chairs, but I love how they complete the look!
Holy shit with the cake. Need some close-ups? Look down...

Fantasy Friday ~ A Spooky, Beautiful Halloween Themed 10th Anniversary Rock the Dress Session

Seriously, how fucked up are those baby heads? Right? Fucked, but awesome... I love this shoot. I think it's cool and deranged all at the same time. This shoot was a collaboration between Michelle & Matthew, who wanted to have a Halloween themed 10th Anniversary Rock the Dress session, and Laura (of Gathered Events, LLC) and Kim (of Kim Truelove Photography) who were the brainchildren behind this fabulously unique, styled shoot. You know, my ten year anniversary is next month (crazy, but true), and maybe, I'll just have to reach out to Kim and Laura to put together a fabulously fucked shoot for me too...

Kim says it perfectly: "In the gorgeous woods behind the historic Highland Manor in Apopka, FL, we created this Halloween-styled scene pulling inspiration from antique gothic décor and the always creative, Tim Burton. We wanted to create a scene that was lush and beautiful, with a gothic and creepy twist. We called it “Living meets the Dead…”

Kim: "These fresh blooms, paired with unexpected elements like animal skins and skulls, helped us create the beautiful and spooky scene."I am OBSESSED with these roses. OB SESS ED!!!Vintage baby doll heads... STRANGE.Holy shit with the skull! OMG. OMG. OMG. That bitch is so spooky!Love the bouquet and the striped ribbon!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Glamorous Styled Shoot That'll Make You Hungry for More!

I literally drooled over this one, brideys. I mean... The sweet table is so delectable that I actually had to go get myself a damn fancy cupcake (okay, two) in preparation of this post so that I could make it through without raiding my kitchen. Yeah... I have cupcake issues. The sweet table together with the stunning wedding gowns and sexy bridesmaid dress (yup... you read that correctly... S E X Y BRIDESMAID DRESS) makes this styled shoot the perfect mix of delicious and hot. Totally my kind of show...

Annie Chang from L'Estelle Photography said that the, "aim is high fashion, with a destination feel. The location is a unique rocky landscape at a beach, located within Whytecliff Park, in West Vancouver, BC, and is perfect for our concept. We used soft bridal colors, like pastel pink and white, with darker colors like purple and black, to produce a more dramatic and fashion theme."

Fucking sexy and soft all at the same time!Could you just die over this mermaid gown? LOVE the asymmetrical sweetheart neckline, and ruffled skirt...Bridey, don't you totally want to be her right now?!!Holy shit with the black orchids! Wow!H.O.L.Y.L'Estelle PhotographyThe pastry, invitation, and floral designers worked together to make our concept come to life.
