Country Wedding

Fantasy Friday ~ A Sophisticated, Intimate, Country Garden Wedding

Brianna and Sam's wedding is probably among the most naturally beautiful weddings I've posted on Bitchless Bride. Photographer, Hilary Cam, said it best, "Picture a heritage house with chandeliers, lanterns and tulle contrasting with cascading sand dunes, dark enchanted forests, airy fern gullies and fields of yellow flowers and you have a glimpse of their spectacular wedding day. The wedding took place at Stanley Park an opulent historic house with a mood of elegance and refinement."

Bridey, this wedding exudes the same style and grace that the B+G so clearly portray. A simple, soft elegance with a touch of panache. I love that the bride and her maid of honor (MOH) had their hands in several of the gorgeous details (OMG! Just wait until you see the cake!). So, enjoy this super elegant, super enchanting (great word) wedding... I did!

HA! Such a fun photograph!Think this 'lil cutie is imagining what it will be like to be a bride one day?Brianna! You're stunning! Flawless makeup and beautiful hair! Seriously, one day, BB is going to become a redhead!Sam, you and the boys are quite dapper! LOVE the blue bow ties!Ring box with a side of jelly beans!WOW! Such a lovely venue and an amazing day!I can't... The flower headpiece and the one shoulder dress... She's just too adorable! The ceremony was set under a magnificent old fig tree, with lanterns filled with pink and peach roses swinging from the branches. So romantic! Sometimes I wonder if my hus can still lift me! OMG! You two wreak of love! Brianna, I'm loving the cuff!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Romantic, Country Chic Urban Wedding

Bridey, here's something you don't hear everyday... Allison and Paul started dating when they were sixteen and eighteen years old. Right? I mean, and they're still together and they like each other? YUP! Seriously, can I get a holy shit?!! I mean, we all can't be like BB and meet their sig other in a bar in our twenties, now can we (don't be jealous!)?! Anyway, Allison and Paul have been together for six years, and it's clear by these gorgeous photographs that they are going strong. So strong, that I can't stop talking about how sexy they are when they kiss!

I am absolutely obsessed with the venue, the John MS Lecky UBC Boathouse because of the brilliant natural light, and simple yet elegant decor. Also, I love how the bridesmaids dresses are quite spectacular, and all a different shade of turquoise. Bridey, there is a ton to love in this countryish, urbanish chic wedding. So without further ado, check it out!

Lovin' the wooden door and the chandelier...Allison's mom has passed, and this is a lovely way to celebrate her memory without feeling too sad.Hello Winston. The paper hearts this adorable flower girl tossed (and the paper flowers in Allison’s bouquet) are made from poems that Paul wrote to Allison. I mean... Happy and beautiful. What a FAB mix!
Such a super romantic kiss. Allison used the lace from her mother’s wedding dress to wrap around her bouquet... A tear is sliding down my cheek.I'm sorry, but this is so cool... Looks a bit like an eclipse.

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Country Wedding with a Modern Twist

I've never been Albuquerque, NM. In fact, I have a hard time spelling it (true story). But, after taking in Julia & Seth's wedding photographs, I think I may have to add Albuquerque to my bucket list. Right??! Who's with me?! Their venue? Los Poblanos Historic Farm, is absolutely stunning and quaint! Not too mention that when you scroll down, you will see a few peacocks just wandering around! LOVE IT!

But, what I think is so cool about Julia and Seth is how they were able to incorporate a fabulous mix of country and modern into their wedding. It's completely clear that these two have a genuine love for one another (wait until you see the kickass video!) and that their guests had a really, really good time.

A gorgeous peacock! Seriously, something I don't often see in wedding photographs!Julia, you are incredibly stunning! Seriously, you could get married in your polka dot robe, and you'd still look beautiful! How about a toast? Oh, you want to see more? I do! Check out the video: Awwwwww....The first look as captured so well in the photographs and in the video! Be sure to watch it!Lovin' the light blue bridesmaids dresses and succulent infused bouquets! It really doesn't get much cuter.Oh yeah!! We did it!! Hell yeah!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Lovely, Do it Yourself, Uniquely Country Wedding

I love this wedding. And I think that I love it so much because I would never be able to do all of the DIY aspects captured so beautifully in this wedding. My style? Pay somebody to do it for me. Yeah, not quite DIY. More like HSEDIFY (Have Somebody Else do it For You). But, you already know that about me. Anyway, Stephanie and Tyler are not only adorable, but their taste? AWESOME! (OMG, I almost said awesome-sauce... Don't even ask!) I love that the bridesmaids dresses are all completely different and instead of fancy shoes, they are rockin' cowboy boots, and that the groomsmen are wearing multicolored bow ties and carnation boutonnieres.

So, bridey, if you are a DIYer, then this wedding will definitely give you some FAB ideas to incorporate into your own wedding planning. I mean, they say that imitation is the best form of flattery, so imitate away!

Love this shot! I love those bridesmaid dresses! And the boots? FABU!!Go ahead... Pin it!Kickass bow ties! Adorable bunch of dudes too!Simple, easy, and cool (and totally functional too!).I love everything about this pic! And a little girl in cowboy boots? SO CUTE!Time to grab your notebook, brideys! Let the DIY BEGIN! Look down...

Fantasy Friday ~ A Stunning Country, Glitz and Glam Wedding

I'm falling over because of the pink sparkles. Like, completely in love this this kick ass picture. Aren't you? And honestly, I have no clue what I'm looking at; is it a piece of fabric? A bridesmaid dress? Can't tell, and I don't care, but I cannot bring myself to look away. Actually, I'm distracting myself. I swear, every time I go to write this post, I find myself just staring at the sparkles and the bling. Sometimes I am such a typical girl. Right? Just show me some bling and a ring, and I can't look away.

Anyway, why don't I move on and tell you a little bit about Rachel and Justin? As a couple who both love country, their wedding definitely reflects this passion... I mean check out the Jack Daniels bottles wrapped in burlap and ribbon centerpieces! Or the cowboy boots! But, our bridey, Rachel, loves a bit of glam and glitter. And as a SUPER glamorous bride, Rachel will absolutely STUN you with her sparkly lacey wedding dress, and her amazing makeup. There are so many cool details to absorb, so don't let me distract you! ENJOY!

Two things... IN CRED IBLE wedding dress! Simply incredible!! I mean, just look at how amazing Rachel looks!!! WOW! Oh, and the other thing? Those boobs. Right? DAMN! This dress was made for you Rachel!Super glam and totally dazzling!
