I was seeing how many adjectives I could squeeze into the title of this post. Just kidding! But, I probably could have added a few more just for fun because this wedding is certainly worthy of piles and piles of adjectives! Simply put? This wedding is splendid! Like, as somebody who has planned a million weddings and as a girl who loves glam, I am OB SESS ED! Not too mention, I am completely captivated by Masae's wedding dresses. Yes, I said dresses! The stunner you see up there? That's the second dress. Um, can I get a "HOLY SHIT"? Because that dress is damn sexy and simply striking! And, just wait until you see the first dress! OMG!
Bridey, all I have to say is go bold or go home! That's exactly what Masae and William did. They went bold! They went passionate and romantic with their color scheme! Red and gold are amazing together! That coupled with the beauty of the estate in which they were married? Priceless! Enjoy!
So super cute!
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Wow!!!
Masae, your smile is contagious! You look beautiful and happy!
Whoa.... And, not for nothing... Check out her nails! LOVE THEM!
Get ready for a FAB first look!
In the industry, we call this a double set. I love it!
Gorge! LOVE the gold charger plates and the deep red linen (and the rose on each plate!)!!
Pictures before the ceremony? Sure! Let's go!
Here we go again, bridey! I am absolutely thrilled to share Day 2 of Phillipa & Anurag's wedding with you! In February, I shared their Western wedding with you, and today, it's time for you to drool over the stunning photographs, taken by the amazing Hilary Cam, of their Hindu wedding celebration. Seriously, you will be drooling, because it's filled with piles and piles of dynamic colors and energy, and truly incredible details!
OMG! Just wait until you see Phillipa and her 'maids in their super colorful lengha and saris. They are so absolutely stunning that you're gonna freak out! And, don't forget to check out their jewels and henna! I mean... Holy shit with the jewelry! Anyway... I'll let you get to it! Enjoy!!!
Amazing henna. Just gorgeous!Phillipa, you look beautiful.Nice sharanis boys!! You look great!!Wow! Check them out! Woot! Woot!Apparently, they tried to sneak up on Anurag for the first look, but the jingling bells and bracelets gave her away! Anurag still looked shocked and surprised when he saw Phillipa in traditional Indian outfit. Uh... Nice Rolls! Bring on the Baraat!!Yeah, look up! The girls are rockin' Gangnam style! Look down! The boys are giving it right back! An impromptu dance off in the street between the bridesmaids and the groomsmen started when Gangnam Style started playing! Oh YEAH!!Then everybody started dancing! Super fun!!Love. Love. Love.
Curious? Good! That's the whole idea... "Curiouser and curiouser" was what Crystal and Andrew were going for as part of their Alice in Wonderland theme. And, I have to say, the arch of books, the suspended furniture, and the sideways clock on the wall are so fabulous that I am utterly blown away. Bridey, just wait until you see the deets in this one! O.M.F.G.! Seriously, it's so fucking cool.
Crystal and Andrew's wedding is the perfect mix of kickass and beautiful. I love how they were able to blend beauty and fantasy into one day; a day that seems to perfectly represent the two of them. Plus, a ton of other goodies that you will see when you explore this FAB wedding! I mean... There are bunnies as part of their centerpieces. BUNNIES!! I know! Right? Enjoy!
Gorgeous headpiece and stunning makeup!I'm seeing red... Just kidding! But, how cool that they met at the Seattle Library for their first look pics?Crystal, you look beautious!! Your dress is AMAZE!!Who needs a floral boutonniere when you cards?DAMN. Show off!Holy GORGE!Oh yeah! Wait a sec, bridey! They are going to flip the space to accommodate the reception! LOVE that the book arch will be used for the whole wedding!
And they're nice too... Can you believe it, bridey? Can you believe that a couple so handsome and so loving with each other (and everyone who is lucky enough to make their acquaintance) can be so nice too? I mean, holy shit... Some people just have it all, don't they? Well, good for them! Because in my experience, the peeps who have it all, usually are simply getting back what they give. And Geneva and Kellen must give a whole hell of a lot! I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to hear a statement like this in my industry, "It’s really hard to accurately describe how wonderful it is to photograph a couple that are simply SO NICE that it blows you away." This from Geneva and Kellen's photographer, Jenn of Jenn Ireland Photography.
This coupled with the extraordinary details like sparkly red shoes, a deliciously warm and almost intoxicating ambiance and the love that these two have for each other made me feel like I have been getting through to you, bridey!! It's fucking working!! Bitchless Bride works! Anyway... Enjoy the beautiful details and the beautiful couple.
Um... I need those shoes! (Suddenly, I keep chanting, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home.")Phew, we did it!! Got those FAB shoes on!Def one of my fave first looks! What a fine looking group of maids and men!Love the personalized flasks! Put them to good use boys!
Holy shit! Bridey, imagine getting married there! Absolute heaven, right? Seriously, I am completely obsessed with the bench seating and the lack of any additional décor; just the beauty around them. Just wait until you see the rest of the photographs from this FAB wedding! They are truly jaw-dropping and simple. The B+G? Not so much. I mean... They are a beautifully handsome couple, but they are anything but simple!
Techincally, they've known each other since their freshman year at UCLA, but didn't officially start their courtship until each were traveling for months at a time. Great timing, right? Actually, it was... They got to know each other via email and when they finally saw each other stateside, they greeted with a kiss and haven't looked back since! Awwwww... How romantic! And, as you will see from their wedding pics, they are certainly two peas in a pod! Laughing the whole day through! Something to aspire towards, bridey... Wouldn't you say?
Such a beautiful smile, Adriana!! Totally how it should be!! Nothing but fun and excitement!Um. WOW!From the groom: "The first look was the most emotional part. You build this day up as "your wedding day" and the "most important day ever." Walking out onto the river with my eyes closed, yelling over the wind at Adriana helped me realize that none of that stuff mattered; it was only the day that I get to marry my best friend. Things got WAY easier after that." First look shots get me every time! Ready? Let's do this!Ro, Adriana.... Clearly, you two make each other laugh out loud... Even during your wedding vows!Great angle!Okay, bridey, look up! Now, look down! I seriously think I have a couple crush on Ro and Adriana!
My mom always said how important it was to read. Right? Yours did too I bet... She said that losing yourself in a book was probably one of the greatest (and cheapest) escapes that one could find. Clearly, Candace and Sean got a lot more than simply losing themselves in a book when they met while working for a major book publisher. It was their shared love of books that brought them together, and helped them to create a beautifully charming and thoughtful theme for their NJ wedding.
These two lovebirds really tied it all together... They sent out library card-styled Save-the-Dates, selected books as wedding favors... INDIVIDUALLY! Like thought about each guest, and paired them with perfect book to several goodies strewn throughout the wedding. Bridey, if you're looking for some amazing inspiration, look no further! Enjoy this FAB wedding!!!
Candace, this is how all brides should be on their wedding day!Love. Love. Love. Sean, you're absolutely adorable!!!Candace and Sean's first look took place at Columbus Park (around the corner from their apartment). These group shots are so much better than the waterfront, right? This B+G didn't let a little rain get them down! Seriously! Take a peek at the next pic!I know it's a strange thing to love, but if you had to choose umbrellas, these are perfect for photographs!Sean, those dimples! You look incredibly happy...Beautiful ceremony, and a great kiss!!!
"Who needs flower girls when you have forest fairies?" Right? I mean, that's what I always say! Actually, it's what Ashley Roper of ashfall mixed media, inc. said when she submitted this fairytale wedding to Bitchless Bride. In fact, it was the ONLY thing she wrote in the submission! And, bridey, when you see the "forest fairies" and all of the other magical details of Tessa and Paul's wedding, you'll be busting with inspiration!
And just what is so inspiration-worthy? Well, the headpieces, the flowers, the chandeliers (and OMG, there are several!!) the dresses, you name it... Scroll down, bridey, scroll down... It's so good you may even shed a tear... Enjoy!
Gorgeous headpieces.Amazing first look photographs. Super emotional.Check out our forest fairies! Could you bust?I know... This is a fucking fabulous shot!
Bonnie and Becky. Becky and Bonnie. Maybe it's because when you put their names together, you come up with BB or maybe it's because they rock such cool and exquisite taste or maybe it's because they are so clearly meant for each other, but whatever it is, I really, really love Bonnie and Becky! I want them to be my friends 'cause I can just tell that they are fucking awesome. And bridey, all you have to do is absorb their gorgeous ceremony and all of the FAB elements of their wedding reception, and you'll want to be their friends too... But, the major reason I want to be friends with Bonnie and Becky? Is because they get it. They get that while the planning is coo coo, the marriage is totally worth it...
From the brides: Whenever wedding planning was overwhelming, we reminded ourselves that even if virtually EVERYTHING went wrong, we'd still say our vows and be married, so it'd be a success. Well, not only did we get married, but we a dream-come-true celebration, surrounded by the people we love the most.
From the brides: Our wedding outfits were kept secret from each other until the wedding day, and in fact no one (except our tailor) had seen both the dresses up until that day. We decided to do a "first look" and we're so glad we did - seeing each other and having a moment alone before the ceremony was one of our favorite parts of the day.
From the brides: We walked down the aisle and back up again to violin and viola tunes provided by two of Bonnie's former classmates from her time in music conservatory.
From the brides: The ceremony itself was officiated by a dear family friend. We worked hard with her in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure that every element of our ceremony was meaningful to us - we wanted to combine tradition that made sense to us with things that define us as individuals and as a couple.
From the brides: We integrated pieces of each of our backgrounds into the ceremony, resulting in an awesome mash-up of both of our heritages and histories.
From the brides: We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding, someplace with lots of green space and off the beaten path. We fell in love with our venue the moment we saw it - the gravely path leading up to the gorgeous red barn, big trees and rolling green hills in every direction. We loved that it was a real, working farm, complete with goats, chickens and pigs, and that the space is a public park, accessible for anyone to visit.
