A Micro-Wedding Rockin' Some Big Love and Smashingly Awesome Deets!

I fucking LOVE this photograph. Like LOVE.IT. I love it because it's obviously filled with raw emotion, but I love it even more because Missy + John have been married for five years and have kids together and STILL look at each other like this. Hot damn! YAAAASSSSSS! I don't know what your situation is bridey, but no matter what anybody tells you about having kids, your marriage will 100% come last for a little while, and to still emanate such passion and love is a big deal.

This micro-wedding/vow renewal/styled shoot was dreamt up by the FAB Christina Campbell of Nina Lily Photography. Christina met M+J in 2010 to shoot their impending nuptials, but life had a different story in mind... A baby. So, Missy and John decided on a civil ceremony instead of the large wedding they had initially planned. By happenstance, Christine and Missy kept running into each other and these chance meetings laid the groundwork for this amazingly awesome idea to create "real" wedding pics for such a lovely couple. Bridey, go! Go get inspired by this lush and delicious micro-wedding, vow renewal and styled shoot!

Bridey, aren't you already in love with the surroundings?

Is that not the most beautiful bouquet you've ever seen?

Nina Lily.003.jpeg

Look at them, bridey! And, take note! They have kids together, and still clearly adore one another! Sometimes that is easier said than done!

Sniff. Sniff.

I'm kinda obsessed with this one... Love the angle of the shot.

A MAZ ING dress! And the jewels too!

An Amazing Greek Wedding So Good the B+G Forgot They Were Hosting!

“It was really a huge party, one of the best parties I've ever been to, so good I eventually forgot I was the host. By the end of the night we went crazy. I guess that's what a wedding is all about, isn't it??” said Nicoletta, the fucking awesome bride! I mean, holy shit, right? THIS is what Bitchless Bride has been preaching since inception! This feeling, this story, this wedding 100% embodies the truth behind your wedding and your marriage! Have fun and love your sig other. Plain and simple. Plain and fucking simple. Enjoy your wedding so much that you forget you’re the host. I really couldn’t have said it better myself.

Bridey, there are so many goodies in this wedding I hardly know where to begin. I seriously wanted to show you every.single.photograph, but somehow I was able to narrow it down. From the al fresco ceremony and kickass cocktail reception to the absolutely insanely GORGEOUS décor, this wedding not only stole my heart, but my soul too. Enjoy! And scroll on to learn more about how Nicoletta and Dimitris met!

WOW! Nicoletta, you are stunning!

Dimitris: If I was ever told that I would fall in love with my future bride at first sight, I would probably laugh hard because I always considered this scenario is only plausible in movies. It's a lovely night in Milan, but despite it's loveliness you don't wish to remove yourself from the couch, your mates insist, so you decide to go all Jim Carrey, be a "yes" man and join them ; there you see her, standing out of the crowd, she's your definition of heaven and you've suddenly grown all sweaty, you want to approach her but your feet can't seem to budge, the night goes by and this beautiful stranger is about to leave, so you come up with the lamest possible excuse to follow her to the door and ask if the lighter you've just grabbed from your best buddy actually belongs to her. Turns out this move is the cheesiest tiny but eventually huge step that will transform your entire life and take it to the right direction.

No need for decorations when you have this!!

Ohhhhhhh..... Kitty!!!

This might be one of my favorite pics ever! Like, EVER! Look at the B+G. Nothing but sheer excitement and joy!

OMG! That's some serious rice throwing! I mean, if you're standing on the roof, you mean business!

Is it weird to be in love with a couple? Just asking...for a friend.

Nicoletta: We arrived at our reception venue on a little fishing boat, and we instantly had a toast to our loved ones sipping some aperol spritzers, the night was still young and our party was about to begin.

I could seriously cry while looking at these photographs. The lighting, the décor the ambiance! Oh my!! Fucking spectacular!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink uplights!

Nicoletta: We wanted our wedding to be a true, heartfelt, endless party where all our loved ones would join us and have an unforgettable time.

Thank you Nicoletta + Dimitris for sharing your amazingly fabulous wedding with Bitchless Bride! I truly love everything about your day!

When a Fabulous South African, Scottish Duo Marry in Southern Greece...

In a nutshell, I received this submission yesterday, dropped what I was doing, and immediately began working on this A MAZ ING wedding in Southern Greece so that I could show it to you TODAY! Why? Well, maybe I needed a mini mental vacation, and Lienelle and Mark's wedding spoke to that need or maybe I just had to show you how beautiful a minimalistic villa wedding on the foothills of Mount Taygetos in Kardamili could be. Either way, it's a win win (whoops! Almost typed wine wine!) for both of us!

Lienelle and Mark are both architects, and their keen sense of design and appreciation for simple elegance are ever present at their wedding. I love the perfectly placed clear flowerpots everywhere, the accents of Mediterranean citrus and olive branches, and the small wooden fans for each guest. Bridey, this wedding will make you wish you were there! Enjoy!

Oh my God! A MAZ ING!

Lovin' all of the rose gold!

So sweet!!

Yes please! I love a pre-ceremony drink!

Totally stunning...

Awwwww... Kitty...

Hi everybody! Down here!

Imagine being a guest at this wedding, and sitting right there...

So warm and lovely...

Thank you for sharing your warm and beautiful wedding with Bitchless Bride!!

Fantasy Friday ~ Pumpkins, Apples and Dragons... Oh My! A Stunning, British Columbian Fall Wedding

Bridey, I totally cracked up when I received this wedding submission! Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful wedding with a ton of fantastic décor and color (I mean, there's a dragon for God's sake!). But, the very talented photographer, Will Pursell, opened his dialogue with, "Leanne and Andrew love Halloween, zombies, scary things, alcoholic things... and animals." Funny, right? I mean, who doesn't love alcoholic things and zombies? I do! I do!! And just wait until you see the photographs of the animals!

Anyway, you read that right... I said dragon. Leanne and Andrew did an amazing job incorporating their heritage into their wedding. Leanne is Chinese and Andrew is Greek, and throughout the day, they celebrated both as their families came together as one. Okay, that's about as mushy as I get! Just enjoy this fun-filled, fall wedding complete with a kickass dragon!!

Any guesses as to the wedding colors? Love the flasks! I'll take whatever is inside...It really doesn't get much cuter than that, right?Leanne and Andrew are huge animal lovers. I love how the kitty is just hanging out on her dress! They were married at the Unitarian Church in Vancouver.Every time I see this pic, I keep thinking the guests are throwing petals at the B+G! But, it's just the altar flowers.Whoa.HA! Love it!Bridey, if your groom isn't looking at you like this, then it ain't meant to be...I just had a baby heart attack. Please don't fall... Amazing shot of the cityscape and the Vancouver mountains!Totally lovin' the fall décor! It's festive and fun!
