Hawaii Wedding

A Glamorous, Bohemian, Luxurious, and Super Sultry, Hawaiian Styled Shoot

Today, I feel like STICKING IT to this awful, Northeast weather. Snow? Really? Fucking snow? I’m not ready for it yet… So, instead of showing you the winter wedding I had planned for today, I switched gears and decided to show you something beautiful (not that the other post wasn’t beautiful, but there was snow in it!), something magnificent, something crafted and collaborated in Hawaii. And, even though we don’t go outdoors, you’ll still feel the openness and airiness of being outside because of the exquisite design and décor.

Bridey, there is so much fabulous inspiration captured in this styled shoot, that I will seriously be mad at you if you don’t take some of this deliciousness and incorporate it into your wedding. There’s color, there’s romance, there’s metallics, there’s greenery, there’s an A MAZ ING wedding dress... OMG, take your pick and run to the altar with it! When talented vendors get together and create beautiful scenery, it’s our job to do something about it, right? Enjoy!!

I’ll be honest… When I first saw this pic, I thought the bride wasn’t wearing a top… And, I’m totally okay with that! But, she is! It’s just hidden behind the bouquet.

Fantasy Friday ~ A Beautiful Hawaiian Wedding Filled with Bed Jumping, Lace and Joy!

When I see Brianna and Dan all dolled on their wedding day, I can't help but picture them in wet suits. In my head, they are the epitome surf Barbie and surf Ken. Each with long, beautiful golden hair, slight figures and radiant smiles; all they're missing is a surf board. But, I'm thinking that it probably wouldn't look right with a wedding dress, right? Especially the gorgeous gown Brianna is wearing like a glove. And it would be a shame for those sparkly Kate Spade shoes to be sinking in the sand...

Anyway... See how Brianna is jumping on the bed in her dress? She is officially my hero. Seriously. Bridey, look at her face! Exuding nothing except pure happiness and joy... Just like you should be on your wedding day, right? Excited and happy! And, I would be too if I was marrying my surf soul mate on a perfect day, and had planned such and incredible wedding filled with fantastic décor and lovely details. So... get to it! Enjoy!!

I have decided to treat myself to this fucking FAB pair of Kate Spade shoes!Again, bridey, I want each of you to mimic Brianna on your wedding day. Look up! Look down! That's it!Hello handsome, Dan.First look pics definitely make my eyes well up...It really doesn't get more romantic, right? One more kiss before we walk down the aisle!WOW!Brianna, I want to be friends, okay?LOVE LOVE LOVE!Chalk board instead of escort cards... FAB! And, I love how each table is a flower instead of a number.I mean... Can we just talk about the lace tablecloths and stunning eyecandy?!!Brianna, Dan... I love the pics with you kissing! So emotional and passionate for each other!!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Hello Hawaii, I Think I Love You

I was almost tempted to post this wedding without writing a single word. Can you imagine? BB... speechless? But, then I thought that you, bridey, might actually be concerned about my well being because I've never gone a post without commenting... And we wouldn't want you to be concerned, now would we? Right?

The reason this post was almost left me "comment less"? Well, after I placed all of the photographs, I was making sure everything looked cool, and I found myself scrolling through this wedding over and over again. No need for words. No need for a story. Just the beauty encapsulated in the pictures was moving enough. Kathy and Marcelo with their family and friends in Hawaii. That's pretty much the heart and soul of it...

Go on... See for yourselves.

I just love this photograph. Just a stunning wedding dress and simply beautiful bridesmaids dresses. I especially love how the MOH's dress is a different color!

OMG! Look at Kathy's face! Love it! She is adorable!

Um... Hello gorgeous! Amazing shot...

Kathy and Marcelo are a super cute couple! Clearly in love... Just like the couple below...

Right? OMG! Could you bust?

A MAZ ING. Just incredible.

Awwwwwwww......

Kathy is so angelic!

Simple and spectacular.

I love Kathy and Marcelo!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Horseshoes and Hawaii

Maybe it's because I have Hawaii on the mind, or maybe I just really need to get away for a bit, but no matter where my head is at, I just LOVE this wedding. I love all of the little details, I love the beautiful flowers and honestly, I love the cowboy boots! Seriously... I guess I never really knew that ranches exist in Hawaii, but they do !! WHO KNEW?!! Right? And seeing these incredible photographs, and the stunning bride (obvi), I am a believer that not only are there ranches in Hawaii, but that they are a fantastic venue for a wedding!

Here are a few words from the bride, SerahCasey and I worked together while living in Corvallis, Oregon. We dated for almost seven years before getting engaged.

Serah: Casey and I were vacationing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming when he proposed. On our last full day in Wyoming, he and I went to Signal Mountain because we read that it was a place that we had to see. It was there that he popped the question and I said, “Yes!” Looking back, I now see all these signs that should have tipped me off. For example, while in Denver for our layover, Casey asked me if I wanted my laptop. I told him I would get it myself, but he insisted that he get it for me (my ring was in his computer bag). Once in Jackson, I got a text from my friend saying that she got engaged. When I told Casey, he said “everyone’s getting engaged.” And finally, on our second to last night there, Casey asked me to go outside and sit on the front porch of our cabin. While we were out there talking, I could see him fidgeting in his pocket and I kept hearing something snap. He then wanted to walk around a bit, and while walking, I continued to hear that snapping sound. I really do not know why I did not ask him what was in there. We ended up going back to our cabin because I got cold being outside. He was so nervous that he was fidgeting with the ring box and it kept snapping shut as he was playing with it in his pocket.

In LOVE with this photograph!

Serah: Kualoa Ranch was the perfect place for us because it was just beautiful. To have the ocean and Chinaman’s Hat on one side and the Ko’olau Mountains on the other side, it really could not be topped. We knew we were going to be having out of town guests coming in and if Kualoa Ranch took our break away (me, growing up on the island and Casey having visited multiple times), we could not wait to see everyone else’s reaction.

Serah: Our wedding turned out to be both a destination wedding, as well as a home town affair. I was born and raised on Oahu and moved to the mainland after graduating from high school. It seemed like a logical place to have the wedding- it’s my home and still have some of my family living there and it makes for a great vacation for our family and friends who were coming in from the mainland.
