Reboot ~ #RedWhiteAndYou! A Fabulous 4th of July Wedding!

Wish I thought of this hashtag! #RedWhiteAndYou! Right? Totally perfect for a 4th of July wedding! And, where better to host a 4th of July wedding than the 200 year-old Publik House Historic Inn in Sturbridge, Massachusetts? Talk about patriotic! Seriously, Marisa and Evan really tied every single detail together while planning their holiday wedding. I mean, the venue, the clothing, the food and the vibe... Completely SPOT ON! Just wait until you see the FAB U LOUS food they served! OMG!

Bridey, if you're planning a 4th of July wedding, then look no further than Marisa and Evan's photographs for inspiration. They did an amazing job without getting sucked into the potential tackiness that can present itself when planning a holiday wedding. So, enjoy! And... Happy 4th of July!!

Burberry and bling? Sign me up!

I adore Marisa's wildflower bouquet! So vibrant and beautiful! Speaking of vibrant and beautiful, look down. Hi Evan. You're quite dapper!

Lovin' the red, white and blue!!

That'll totally take the edge off before walking down the aisle.

These are some seriously fabulous escort cards! LOVE THEM!!

Let's be honest... I love me some delicious fancy food, but all American food like sliders, pigs and scallops wrapped in bacon are pretty fucking awesome too!

Those centerpieces are so cool! Plus, they have candy, and candy is good!

Um, Marisa's mother made all the favors. I know, right?! She used local produce to make salsa, sauces, pickles, etc.

Fresh popcorn and cotton candy? Best.Wedding.Ever.

Thank you for sharing this FAB 4th of July wedding with Bitchless Bride!

A Totally Awesome, Insanely Cool, Rockabilly Tennessee Wedding

Jackson_Walker_WildeCompany_wildco153_low.jpg

Bridey, when I tell you that David's first look reaction is amongst the most incredible, emotional and straight out gut-wrenching reaction I've EVER seen in person and on Bitchless Bride, believe me. When I tell you that Holly + David are madly in love, and created a wedding entirely representative of that love, believe me. When I tell you that YOU too can create a wedding that is entirely about you and your sig other, believe me. Whatever you are doing that doesn't feel like it is about the two of you, stop. Remember that you can and deserve to have a wedding which represents who you are together. Just scroll down for proof of that sentiment.

Bridey, this wedding will absolutely blow your mind. I'm OB SES SED with this backyard throw down party filled with raw emotion, tons of delicious treats, WAFFLES and a l'il debauchery. H+D definitely know how to throw a party! But, beyond the party, it's apparent that these two belong with each other and put together a celebration symbolic of their love. You should try it.... Dana + John's steampunk wedding oozes with sexy-awesome-fantastic. Bridey, I just had to use a combination of three adjectives because I was way too indecisive to stick with one word. I mean, just look at that pic! Right? Not only is Dana's whole ensemble is truly A MAZ ING (OMG... Are you as completely in love with her hair as I am?!!), but, she and John are so damn steamy! Like hot for teacher steamy! Right?? Not exactly sure who she's calling in this photo, but it's probably super important!

A Kickass, Retro Wedding Brimming with Amazing Style, a FAB Bouffant and Some Seriously Awesome Décor

Livingstone_Livingstone_MaineTinkerPhotography_326132957_low.jpg

Looks like this pic could have been taken in the 60s, right? I mean, collectively, Heather + Sam are rockin' some serious lashes and chops AND they're riding in a car with a gigantic steering wheel. Totally retro-fab. But, even more than that, bridey? This pic encompasses exactly who they are and what they wanted to express on their wedding day... Themselves. Their wedding embraces the true reflection of who they are, and honestly? It's fucking superb! I can't even begin to tell you how captivated I am with the details. From the hair styles, to the bridesmaids dresses to the décor to the everything else, I'm really in awe...

Did I mention that the B+G danced the night away with their guests and were totally a "groovy" couple to photograph? OMG. I can't help it with my verbiage in this post; I'm getting a bit retro with my language. Anyway... obviously, you dig... Shit. I better quit while I'm ahead! Enjoy the many beautiful and totally rad deets of H+S's wedding!

An Industrial, Gold and Black Wedding Starring an AMC Rambler, Donut Porn + So Much More!!

I know what you're thinking, bridey. You're thinking that this pic totally looks like it came right out of a styled shoot. Am I correct? Well, I don't blame you for thinking that this is "styled", because it's SO fucking FAB, but it's actually Brenda + Luis' sweetheart table. A real couple and a real wedding. And the stools in front? Those are for guests to come by and say hello! How genius is that? Right?!!

Okay, it's obvious, that I am a l'il obsessed with the B+G and their exquisite taste, but I also love how I feel when I browse their wedding photographs. And, if I love the way I feel, I can only image how B+L feel when they look at their photos! Besides the kickass sweetheart table, the metallics and the donut display (Yup! DONUT DISPLAY!), Brenda's AMC Rambler definitely grabbed my attention. Luis fixed it up  (it originally belonged to B's grandfather) so that they could drive off in it at the end of the night. Um, how sweet is that? Enjoy this modernly fantastic wedding!! I totally did!!

Gorgeous dress... And that pearl bracelet? It was Brenda's grandmother's.

Luis! You're super dapper!!

Beautiful ceremony set...

Now that's a dip!!!! Oh yeah!!

Is that not the greatest car ever?!!

Sign me up! I love food trucks at a wedding!

Right? Isn't that so fucking FAB?!

Totally crushin' on the B+G!

I mean... Between the burgers and the donuts... The wedding is truly FOOD HEAVEN!

SO so so cute! Okay... ONE more pic of the donuts and then I will move on!

Thank you Brenda + Luis for sharing your awesomely cool and totally delicious wedding with Bitchless Bride!!!

A Gorgeous Vineyard Wedding Complete with a Tea Ceremony, Choreographed Bridal Party Dance, The Best Bridal Shoes Ever, and Lots of Fun!

Bridey, I can preach about how important lighting is for your wedding until I am blue in the face, but just looking at this photograph should "sell" you. Amazing, right? And the design on the dance floor that the chandelier is making? Fucking fantastic!! WOW! Anyway, I am going to give the floor (no pun, I swear!!) to Stephanie, our beautiful bride. She is going to share their seriously incredible proposal story with you throughout the post, and in between, I am going to share tid bits about the wedding! Enjoy!!

StephanieWell, being the know-it-all woman that I am, I was absolutely convinced Stephen would propose at one of two times: during our 5 week vacation to Europe or after finishing his residency/fellowship. Now I am definitely not one to snoop :), however, I am one to pay very close attention when “assessing” my surroundings. For months, as any one of my friends can tell you, I had been hoping Stephen would ask The Question. But there were absolutely no signs at all! He was not acting funny, he was not asking weird or obvious questions, there were no receipts, business cards, NADA! Still I had thoughts Stephen would propose in Europe, but each day gourmet dinners, romantic walks, gorgeous settings and “perfect times” came and went, with no question being asked.

See what I mean?! BEST.BRIDAL.SHOES.EVER!

Stephanie: Needless to say, after returning home my belief that he was waiting to finish his training solidified. The day before we flew home for Christmas my sister came to visit because “she needed a break.” Uh huh. She wanted to get her nails done, get dressed up and go shopping so she could have an “adult day” without the kids. So here I am thinking I am doing something so great for my sister! Yeah, that wasn’t exactly reality. We spent the day out on town with our manicured nails and trendy outfits.

Love this pic with Stephanie + her besties!!

StephanieWhen we got home I open my front door to find that Stephen and my best friend, Yuri, had spent the last 12 hours decorating the entire house in gorgeous Christmas decoration straight out of a magazine! Stephen and I had previously decided not to decorate for Christmas because we were only home for a few days before flying to Northern California for the holidays. But he knows me so much better than that! Christmas is quite literally my favorite time of year and I love me some glitter, sparkles and Christmas decor :).

A beautiful tea ceremony...

StephanieStephen then handed me a beautifully wrapped gift box stating this was my Christmas present. Just as a side note, Stephen and I also had previously decided that we were not going to spend more than $20 on each other for Christmas, and yeah, he broke a lot of rules! When I opened the box it was filled with several clear ornaments that open. Stephen stated that each year we will place a memorable keepsake in one of ornaments for that year. And there was one already on the tree for me this year! Yay! With my great “assessing” skills I quickly found this year’s ornament. I sat down to open the white box inside this year’s ornament with little expectations given the shocked state I was in. But what was inside I did not expect at all………NOTHING.Yep, nothing.

Damn, girl! You look absolutely stunning!!! Bridey, know what's cool? Stephanie did TWO first looks! One with her bridesmaids... They hadn't seen her wedding dress. Only her mom, sister and her best friend were helping her get ready. Isn't that FAB?!!

STFU with the shoes!!!

StephanieAs I looked up from the empty box, a little confused, I saw the man of my dreams on one knee with the most beautiful piece of jewelry I have ever seen in his hands. I couldn’t breathe, talk (I know it seems impossible, but no I really couldn’t talk!) or move. As this amazing man continued to tell me how we should spend the rest of our lives together all I could think was, “I must be dreaming, there is no way Stephen could pull this off without me knowing!” But he did, and it was the best night of my life thus far.

The bouquet Stephen is holding? Made by her one of her bridesmaids!!!

Totally love that Stephen is checking out her backside!

StephanieAfter the proposal, Stephen continued to surprise me. Saying we had dinner reservations I followed him to where he had planned a surprise party with all of our friends and my sister. We celebrated all night, then left the next morning to continue the celebration with our families for the holidays, which has now become known as the Engagement Tour:) I am so very blessed and just want to say thank you Stephen, Candace, Yuri and all of our friends who helped make that night literally the best night of my life!

How beautiful is that ceremony space?! OMG!

Love this shot!!!

Um. WOW!!!!

I cannot get enough of this décor! I am doing something similar with one of my brides, and I swear... Sequins speak to me!!

I seriously want to slide down that cupcake tree!

Marchione_Au_Kirstin_Burrows_Photography_PalmEventCenterWedding67_low.jpg

STFU! Look at Stephanie's hair! So GORGE!

Yup! They had somebody painting the scenes at their wedding! So cool!

Stephanie’s father had a contract drawn up for Stephen to take over all of Stephanie’s debt... LOL! He shared this during his toast!

I really don't even have the words... No, seriously! How amazing is this!?

Best final photograph in a Bitchless Bride post ever! Can you imagine? I want to dive into that pic and have my way with that plate! Anyway... A GIANT thank you to Stephanie and Stephen for sharing their beautiful and fun wedding with BB!!

Fantasy Friday ~ An Intimate, Vintage Inspired Tennessee Wedding

Bridey, do you know what the most suggested piece of advice is from one bride to another? Have fun on your wedding day! Relax! Enjoy every second. Well, that's exactly what Becky and Devin did... They enjoyed every.single.second. And, know what? It totally shows in the photographs! I mean... There is so much to love about this intimate, vintage inspired wedding, that I hardly know where to begin because I love all of the intricate details. Seriously, the deets are so meaty and delicious that I can't stand it! Just wait until you see the stunning, hand crafted bouquets, the wedding dresses, the gentlemen attire, etc.!!

The other super cool part of Becky and Devni's wedding? Well, the B+G have two gorgeous little girls, and they did an incredible job of making these beauties a huge part of their ceremony. After all, a wedding is about a union of two people, right? And, if these two people have two other people together, then everybody should be involved, right? RIGHT!! Anyway... Enjoy!!
LOVE. Like... So beautiful and clever.
That's the B+G and their two adorable little girls!
Couldn't you see this pic in your mom's wedding album?
I can't... It's just too good! Becky, your bouquet is really amazing!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Wedding at Elevated Heights... Meet the B+G Who Met in an Elevator & Love Their Dog

Forget blind dates, match.com, bars or what have you, Nic and Nick met in an elevator! I know, right? Talk about speed dating... OMG! Sorry, I just couldn't help it! But, seriously! Nick lived on the same floor as Nicole's parents in downtown Denver, and apparently asked Nicole for a date several times before she finally agreed. Bridey, I love hearing crazy awesome stories like Nic & Nick's! Gives us all hope that fucking great things can happen at any time if we just allow them to...

Bridey, there are more than a few takeaways from this beautiful wedding at the Sundance Mountain Resort. First of all, both the B+G said that doing a first look was amongst the best decision they made for their wedding day. Scroll down to learn more about why. Also, I love love LOVE how they described the décor for day. (And, I love the cake, the dress, the ceremony, the dog, etc., etc., etc.!) I'm going to let Nicole take it from here! Enjoy!!

OMG! Meet Trooper, Nic & Nick's doggy! I mean... So so so super cute!

Nicole: There were three reasons why this dress was magic. My grandma, whom I love dearly and is no longer with us was named Meme. The dress has pockets! And N-sync, mega dorky I know, came on while trying it on and all of us got down at the a&be bridal shop, including Noah our bridal dress guide. It was a moment for sure… a little different from the ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ crying in a mirror moment.

Nicole: We decided to do a first look for two reasons: to have more time to party with our friends and family and the intimacy of the moment being for the two of us. (Nick – “we were both satisfied that we did the first look. Nothing felt more intimate and validated then seeing each other before our guests, and sharing our hearts and feelings with each other first. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”)

Totally looks like Nick is asking Trooper if he's ready to walk down the aisle... "Ready, boy?"

WOW!

Nicole: I don't know if anyone could top my dad in the way he loves and supports me and my mom. Plus he's hilarious and always has a big smile on the brink.

Hip! Hip!

Who do you think is going to win? Server or dog? Dude! Just put down the tray...

Nicole: The idea was to bring the outside in, so the colors I wanted to use were green, white, yellow, and purple. The most important design element to us was to incorporate stories in what we used. The crystal (Meme’s crystal) that hung from the arbor (our friend Rusty created and built), was given to me by my grandma Meme when I turned 16 to hang from my rearview mirror. The ring bearer pillows were made by Nick’s mom Pat, out of his grandma Grace’s wedding dress. My aunt Becca who sang during the ceremony is also an artist and we had one of her oil paintings over the fireplace. For our centerpieces I had purple crystals on each table from my grandmother Margret’s collection. On the Welcome table I had a metal Jacquemard sign that used to hang and the bottom of my grandparents driveway. Nick’s uncle Frank who is a welder made a Greene sign to match. We both wanted to surround this wedding moments with stories about who we are because of the people who surround us.

Amazingly beautiful and warm...

Nicole: Simple, round and all white with wood grain cover; three tiered. Three different flavors (almond, banana caramel (YUM!!), and chocolate. We can't tell you how many compliments we had about the texture and the taste of the cake.

Nicole! I love your dress!!

Fantasy Friday ~ Waterfalls, Ruins, and the Great Outdoors... It's Rustically Fantastic!!

Doesn't the background look like an abandoned castle that Tanner and Rebecca are "dipping" in? Or, is my Game of Thrones-like imagination is getting the best of me? Either way, it's fantastic! Right? And, there are many, many more photographs like this one that will inspire you captured within this rustically fantastic wedding. I mean... There are just SO many details that I adore, I hardly know where to begin!

For instance... The waterfall. It's incredible! And, it serves as a beautiful backdrop during the ceremony. Seriously... if we're honest, not many people can say that they were married with a waterfall glistening in behind the scenes, right?! Right! Well, Rebecca and Tanner can! Then there's Rebecca's heavenly wedding gown (OMG!), the first look, the delectable dessert table, the barn & décor, and the truly captivating photographs taken by Krisandra Evans Photography. Bride, go! Go scroll, and get inspired!

Totally picturing the FAB photog laying on the floor underneath this stunning dress to capture this shot!!

Nice bling!!

I think it's fabulous how Rebecca is sneaking up the stairs for the first look!

OMG! Totlly LOVE you guys!

WOW. Amazing dress. Amazing bouquet. Amazing shot.

There's that castle again!

The bridal party definitely has a good time together, that's for sure!!

Look closely at the "wedding" sign... Yeah, it's a bedpost! L.O.V.E.

So fun! Still with the castle! (Okay, okay! I'll get over it! But, I love it so much!)

Tanner, you happen to be a great "dipper". Again, the veil shot and this one are fucking FAB!

So, so, so AWES!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Great Gatsby Inspired, Dance Your Ass Off Kind of Wedding

Bridey, you know that saying, "Have fun, but not too much fun!"? Well, it's rare that I would use that to describe a wedding (sorry, but, the truth hurts), but, Regan and Troy's wedding? Well, I'm pretty sure the guests had a pile of fun, if not too much. Aside from the choreographed dancing, complete with costumes (Regan is a dance instructor), and the tons and tons of decorative sequins, I love that the B+G trusted their florist to take their Gatsby theme and run with it. Like, they gave him NO other details. They literally had know idea what to expect as they walked into the venue. True fucking story! WHOA!! And the florist? Well, he did not disappoint!

Seriously, can you imagine? It was just as much of a surprise to Regan and Troy as it was to everyone else! I mean.... Applause to the B+G! Bridey, I'm certainly not saying that you shouldn't have any input, but it is absolutely imperative to trust the vendors you hire, and that is exactly what Regan and Troy did! And, OMFG, just wait until you see the décor! A MAZ ING!! Enjoy! And don't forget to soak in each and every detail of this FAB wedding!!

This photograph makes my eyes well with tears.
So cool...
Regan, you are stunning! And, I love the dark purple calla lilies!!
There's my city again... Sweet home Chicago!
I mean... The dresses and the sign are so FAB!!
Oh yeah!!!!
I have been pulled over more times that I should admit publicly, and looking at those GORGEOUS cars behind the signing book table, I feel my knees getting weak.
Check out the stacked cigar boxes in the middle of the escort card table! OMG!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Badass Halloween-Inspired Styled Shoot

I love this shoot. I love this shoot for all of the stunning details, the gothic vibe, the "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil" inspiration, and because of the model groom, Brandon Flowers. Just kidding! But, I swear to God this guy looks so much like him, that I about fell over when I saw the pics for the first time. What, bridey? You don't know who he is? WTF!? He's the lead singer of The Killers! Duh... I LOVE The Killers! Anyway... This styled shoot is damn magnificent. It's badass. It's borderline creepy (in an awesome way of course!).

Bridey, if you're looking to rock something different than a white wedding (um, just wait until you see the black wedding cake!), then allow yourself to get lost in this pile of inspiration, "dripping with decadent details and tons of vivacious color"! Yeah, totally had to steal that line from photographer, April Amodeo! Enjoy this masterpiece you are about to embark on, bridey, brought to you by an incredible group of vendors. I totally did!

Check out this groom, and now go Google image pics of Brandon Flowers."The bride was adorned in a sumptuous headpiece with hand-sculpted red satin roses and black lace-covered fans sparkling with Swarovski Crystals."That cake is absolutely phenomenal! I'm completely obessed with it!Stunning and vibrant!Fuck me, that's an amazing bouquet. I love all of the different texture elements here... The design of the linen, the sparkle of the charger plates, the voluptuous flowers...OMG. Is that a watermelon?A MAZ ING. A FUCK ING MAZ ING!!! Love this shot.Thank you for sharing this badass shoot with Bitchless Bride!! LOVE IT!
