A Super Colorful, Super Fabulous, Amazing Rainbow Wedding, Rockin’ Some Serious Pride! YEAH!

OMG. Are you fucking falling over right now, bridey? Seriously, just look at this incredible ceremony setup. LOOK! Yes, I am totally yelling at you, but that's simply because I am 100% OBSESSED with Steven and Andrew's wedding. It's RAINBOW!!! And, I love rainbows... So much so, that in 2013, I put together a post called The Rainbow Connection. I thought was pretty fucking awesome, but now that I have had the privilege of sharing this with you, I realized that it hardly holds a candle to Steven and Andrew's kickass wedding!

Aside from all of the colorful deets (quite literally), I love that these two groom's are waving the rainbow flag, HIGH (well, they're signing it instead of a guest book!)!!! I mean... Love is love... Marry whoever the fuck you want. Love whoever you want. And be whoever you want! Now, go love this wedding like I did! (If you want to see Steven and Andrew's engagement shoot, and learn more about their story, click here.)

Woot! Woot!

Andrew, you are so ADORABLE! Like... OMFG!

Awwwww..... So so so cute!!

Steven... Such a handsome pic!!

Like... OMG with the ceremony space!!

Doves. That's all.

The masks! WHOA!!! A teeny, tiny bit Tom Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut, but I love it!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A "Rockin'" Rocky Mountain, DIY, Amazingly Gorgeous Wedding

Brideys, try not be jelly when I tell you how Adam proposed to Bernida... Okay? Ready? Adam proposed to Bernida after throwing her OUT OF A PLANE (Yup! You read that right!). And... It was her first time skydiving! Can you imagine?! Adam had a big 10' x 60' sign (one that would be dragged behind a plane) rolled out in the grassy landing field that said, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?". The best part? He could hear her screaming "Yes!" from about 1,500 ft in the air. Seriously, that guy puts all of our grooms to shame! Right?

Anyway, as you scroll down, you'll realize two things... One, I had a hard time editing Bernida and Adam's wedding because I loved all of the photographs so much, and two, the B+G are seriously in love. Like, mushy, romantic, and borderline I'm gonna be sick kind of love... And it's fucking great! Their mushy love for each other is apparent in pretty much every.single.photograph. Totally, how it should be, bridey!!! So, take some notes, and enjoy the eye candy!

Those pearls belonged to Bernida's grandmother. And what you can't see when you look down is that Adam has his grandfather's pocket knife in his jacket pocket. I love the sentiment. It seriously looks fake. Doesn't it? How could anything be that beautiful??Bernida and Adam got married on Crested Butte Mountain overlooking the Paradise Divide Mountain Range. Great shot!Gimme some!! Such a fun photograph!HAHA! Look at the faces on the groomsmen and bridesmaids! LOVE IT!A MAZ ING. The cake is stunning, and the shot of the cake is magnificent!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Cowboy Boots, Carrots, and a Pistol (Yes! A Pistol)! Just a FAB Texan Wedding!

I really don't know where to begin with Rachael and Kirk's wedding. All I can tell you, bridey, is that everything about it screams awesome. From the vibrant colors to the stunning ceremony décor (and setting) to the cakes (yes, both of them) and the party, this wedding stole my heart!

I mean... Just look up at that photograph of Rachael and Kirk. Could I have enticed you with a pic of the bride's cool bouquet which rocked flowers and carrots? I could have... Or perhaps the record player groom's cake? Sure... But, as I practically preach on Bitchless Bride, all of that stuff is fucking great, but it's what's seen in that picture that makes it all worthwhile.

I've never owned (or even worn) a pair of cowboy boots... But, I must say, those look FAB!Rachael, you look adorable and beautiful all at the same time!Such a beautiful ceremony!Um, are those carrots? Yup! And they look awesome, don't they!!?Look at Kirk's eyes.According to Debra Gulbas, the photographer, "Rachael and Kirk wrote their vows with a compilation of music lines, and there wasn't a dry eye in the area. Their vows were heartfelt, emotional, and beautiful."Oh yeah! We did it!!Probably one of my favorite wedding pics ever!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Ventura Beach, Ocean Front, Mismatched Bridesmaids Wearing Kickass Wedding

If I had to guess, I would say that the bride and groom are definitely water signs. And you know what, bridey, you’re probably going to agree with me after you browse these beautiful photographs. You see, Shelby and Daniel are avid water sports enthusiasts. Wake boarding and surfing is their passion, so it would only make sense to get married at the beach, right? Right. They wanted their wedding photos to reflect their love of the sea and the sand, and I would say that they did a wonderful job building their mutual charisma for the ocean into their wedding.

Another cool ‘lil tid bit? The wedding was held on the beach near their new home. I mean, how fucking FAB is that? Talk about having everything come together!! New home, new hus and a kickass wedding down the beach? Pretty cool! Plus, I’m a little obsessed with the colors scheme for this wedding. Seriously, Shelby did an amazing job choosing her palette! Coral and ocean blue! FABULOUS! Check out the mismatched bridesmaids dresses; they are absolutely GORGE. I totally love how they are within the same orangey color spectrum, and yet each are entirely different, but in complete harmony. Go see for yourself!!

Just LOOK at those bridesmaids dresses!! I really love them! Those are the RSVPs. Not only are they awesome, but I love that they are hanging up and that Shelby and Daniel's guests had the chance to write something fun on the card!!Such a fine looking couple! Love the pedi, Shelby! It really doesn't get better than that, huh? Great shot!!Lovely succulents!Amazing idea for escort cards!

The Truth Hurts Tuesday ~ Don't Do Me Any Favors

"Are you fucking kidding me? REALLY?" she asked. This was the response from an overworked, underpaid and pissed off venue employee. "ALL of that for two fucking French macarons? Seriously, why do I even bother?" she asked and walked away in a huff. "Nice 'tip'."

Brideys, as we are heading into a busy spring wedding season, I cannot stress enough how important it is to tip the vendors who work their asses off for you. I'm not saying that you "owe" them (particularly if they did not perform well or if they just plain ol' sucked), but if you are going to make like 800 demands (all the way down to the light bulb brand used in function space), and expect that your demands are met, then you know what? You DO owe them, and you better show your appreciation... with CASH. Giving them a $4.00 favor that you are giving to all of your guests? Yeah, it doesn't cut it. Actually feels more like a "fuck you" than a nice little sweet treat. It's definitely not how you should show your appreciation to anybody who has gone out of their way for you (especially if they were the ones who helped you procure said macarons!).

Bridey, I have written about this a million fucking times, and so has The Tipping Fairy (a Vendor Vent), and even Martha Stewart has written about tipping your wedding vendors! If you pushed your vendors HARD, and they lived up to all of said demands (ahem... changing the brand of light bulbs for your wedding), then show them. Give them a nice fat envelop, write something nice, and build it into your wedding budget.
