Fantasy Friday ~ Eat, Drink, and be Scary!

I love that I chose today to start eating healthier, increase my workout regime, blah blah blah... only to realize that today I am posting a disgustingly delicious, incredibly awesome, DIY submission from Mia Dee Photography. This kickass collaboration between The Frosted Petticoat and Chinet seriously has me wanting to gnaw my arm off (in honor of Halloween) to avoid chewing through the screen. Because as "gross" as this post is, all I want to do is to devour those cupcakes and candy!! I guess that's what happens when fucking fantastic vendors unite. Right? They make you want to things that you didn't think possible. And for me? I suddenly feel very DIY (which is SO not like BB)!!

Sooooo... As I mentioned, this was a collaborative shoot between The Frosted Petticoat chocolate company and Chinet. See what I mean, brideys? THIS is what happens when great minds come together... Amazing things start to happen. "The goal was to create an elegant (yet spooky) adult themed Halloween party, using both The Frosted Petticoat chocolates and Chinet’s party supplies. This could also serve as fantastic decor inspiration for a Halloween wedding! Styled by the head sugar designer, Sam, at The Frosted Petticoat, the results were spectacular! The party features three distinct displays: A candy table, a pastry/dessert bookcase, and a drink bar. Most treats are presented on Chinet plates or using Chinet’s plastic cups. Here are the special features of each display…"

Dessert Bookcase
"The dessert bookcase is the centerpiece of the party. Sitting court atop the sweets is a coconut cake with a lavender flavored white chocolate skull topper by The Frosted Petticoat. Also on the top shelf sits a yummy selection of spicey pumpkin cupcakes with khalua cream cheese frosting, along with The Frosted Petticoat’s famous amaretto flavored white chocolate sugar skull lollipops. The second shelf boasts a gaggle of treats: The Frosted Petticoat’s coffee flavored white chocolate sugar skulls, black & white cookies adorned with The Frosted Petticoat’s mayan chili flavored dark chocolate skeleton cameos, and dark chocolate cannolis. The bottom shelf finishes off the sweet array with raspberry & mint petit-fours, chocolate cream cookies, and The Frosted Petticoat’s Irish Cream flavored white chocolate skeleton bones."
RIGHT??? Those cupcakes look A MAZ ING!!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Louisiana Style... Tattoos, Creole and DIY!

Erika and Ricky... I look at them, and all I can imagine are their babies. I dunno why, but seriously that's what I see as I browse these photographs. I mean, I also see a cool-ass couple, a stunning bride, a handsome groom and a few tattoos, but damn... They will make some beautiful children. Maybe it's me. Maybe my clock is a tickin' and I have babies on the brain, but either way I love what I see. Don't you?

Here's a little bit from Erika: "I met Ricky when he walked into my house with a friend... my first thought was, "Get him out of my house, he's scary..." Haha! Now look at us. We wanted a real Louisiana style wedding complete with creole food. The plantation style venue was perfect. They provided all the food and even the cakes. The decor and flowers were all handmade by us. My favorite moment was seeing Ricky cry before I even stepped foot on the aisle. My advice to future couples is to keep the lines of communication open, stay friends and never take each other for granted and respect each other."

AMEN Erika! Sounds like you are truly a Bitchless Bride!

These two photographs make me so happy. Both the B+G are completely relaxed, and are clearly enjoying the wedding day preparation. I just love Erika's bouquet. Lillies... I can smell them...Hey Ricky... I got a 'lil crush on you!

Seriously love how all of the dresses are a different cut. Great color too!Ta-da!

Fantasy Friday ~ Sweet Sensation... It's Such a Good Vibration

Do you ever think to yourself, "Dammit, there's not enough pink in the world."? I do. Like, all of the time... Seriously, I look back and can't believe I actually went through a "I only wear black" phase. Right? Just look at my website. It's super PINK!! Brideys, ladies, whoever... you know what I'm talking about!! So, in honor of us girls who went through the, "I only wear black phase", here's a whole bunch of pink to make up for it! Not too mention a kickass wedding dress (cheers to Solitary Pearl) to drool over and some gorgeous flowers to boot!

Maribel (from EightTreeStreet) take it away: From Vivacious," one of Pantone's 2013 fall colors teams up with a unique non-traditional Fall bright palette to celebrate an exciting Urban Autumn wedding in pinks, fuchsia, with silver, chartreuse and yellow accents. This inspiration photo shoot celebrates Vivacious with an organic combination of Indie wedding designers - a natural blend of modern and sustainable design.. Many of the components of this inspiration shoot have been made with all natural, recycled, repurposed or reclaimed materials. Flowers come from organic farms, and the wedding gown is designed by one of Ohio's up and coming Indie designers, Solitary Pearl.

Are you dying right now? I love the pink and silver. LOVE!
