You know that saying that says you can "judge a man by how he treats his mother"? Well, I find that you can pretty much judge anybody based on how they treat animals. Right?
Judging solely on the shoes, you can already tell that the B+G are pretty laid-back and pretty cool, right? Right! And, because we already know how cool these two are, I bet it wouldn't surprise you if I told you that Kimberly and Thomas' families are close friends, would it? Because, that's pretty fucking fabulous, right? Aaaaanddd.... as if that wasn't awesome enough, all the B+G really wanted on their wedding day was for their family and friends to have a good time; a big party! I mean... They even hired Mike Freas, the photographer, because, "...we really enjoyed your personality and we had a feeling that if you were just hanging at our wedding as 'a friend', that you would totally fit in."
It was a difficult task, but Kimberly and Thomas meticulously weeded their guest list down from 300 so that could have only their "closest people" attend the wedding. LOVE IT! Aside from their FAB story, there are some gorgeous deets to inspire you as you plan your own wedding, bridey. Oh! And, OMG... Just wait until you see their "cake"!! Enjoy!
STUNNING dress. It's even better on the bride!!
Love the shoes and the bouquet!
I love that the B+G invited the president to their wedding!!
Love the hair. Love the makeup. Love the bouquet. Obsessed with the dress.
That's "Pops", Thomas' father, and apparently, the life of the party.
I want to hug Thomas too!! Amazing reaction to seeing Kimberly!
So so so cute! Nice cleave too, Kimberly! You're 100% OWNING that wedding dress!Beautiful shot.
STFU with that dress!! I may be a l'il obsessed!
Such a lovely, passionate kiss!
How cool is this venue!!???
I love how Thomas rolled up his sleeves!
So, what do you think of the B+G's cake? HE'S ROLLING IT!!!! Look down!
Shut the FUCK up! That's gorgeous! That's amazing! That's all of my favorite adjectives combined!
Thank you Kimberly and Thomas for sharing your fantastic wedding with Bitchless Bride!!

Forget blind dates, match.com, bars or what have you, Nic and Nick met in an elevator! I know, right? Talk about speed dating... OMG! Sorry, I just couldn't help it! But, seriously! Nick lived on the same floor as Nicole's parents in downtown Denver, and apparently asked Nicole for a date several times before she finally agreed. Bridey, I love hearing crazy awesome stories like Nic & Nick's! Gives us all hope that fucking great things can happen at any time if we just allow them to...
Bridey, there are more than a few takeaways from this beautiful wedding at the Sundance Mountain Resort. First of all, both the B+G said that doing a first look was amongst the best decision they made for their wedding day. Scroll down to learn more about why. Also, I love love LOVE how they described the décor for day. (And, I love the cake, the dress, the ceremony, the dog, etc., etc., etc.!) I'm going to let Nicole take it from here! Enjoy!!
OMG! Meet Trooper, Nic & Nick's doggy! I mean... So so so super cute!
Nicole: There were three reasons why this dress was magic. My grandma, whom I love dearly and is no longer with us was named Meme. The dress has pockets! And N-sync, mega dorky I know, came on while trying it on and all of us got down at the a&be bridal shop, including Noah our bridal dress guide. It was a moment for sure… a little different from the ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ crying in a mirror moment.
Nicole: We decided to do a first look for two reasons: to have more time to party with our friends and family and the intimacy of the moment being for the two of us. (Nick – “we were both satisfied that we did the first look. Nothing felt more intimate and validated then seeing each other before our guests, and sharing our hearts and feelings with each other first. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”)
Totally looks like Nick is asking Trooper if he's ready to walk down the aisle... "Ready, boy?"
Nicole: I don't know if anyone could top my dad in the way he loves and supports me and my mom. Plus he's hilarious and always has a big smile on the brink.
Who do you think is going to win? Server or dog? Dude! Just put down the tray...
Nicole: The idea was to bring the outside in, so the colors I wanted to use were green, white, yellow, and purple. The most important design element to us was to incorporate stories in what we used. The crystal (Meme’s crystal) that hung from the arbor (our friend Rusty created and built), was given to me by my grandma Meme when I turned 16 to hang from my rearview mirror. The ring bearer pillows were made by Nick’s mom Pat, out of his grandma Grace’s wedding dress. My aunt Becca who sang during the ceremony is also an artist and we had one of her oil paintings over the fireplace. For our centerpieces I had purple crystals on each table from my grandmother Margret’s collection. On the Welcome table I had a metal Jacquemard sign that used to hang and the bottom of my grandparents driveway. Nick’s uncle Frank who is a welder made a Greene sign to match. We both wanted to surround this wedding moments with stories about who we are because of the people who surround us.
Amazingly beautiful and warm...
Nicole: Simple, round and all white with wood grain cover; three tiered. Three different flavors (almond, banana caramel (YUM!!), and chocolate. We can't tell you how many compliments we had about the texture and the taste of the cake.
Nicole! I love your dress!!
Thank you Nic and Nick for sharing your GORGE wedding with Bitchless Bride!!!!

Doesn't the background look like an abandoned castle that Tanner and Rebecca are "dipping" in? Or, is my Game of Thrones-like imagination is getting the best of me? Either way, it's fantastic! Right? And, there are many, many more photographs like this one that will inspire you captured within this rustically fantastic wedding. I mean... There are just SO many details that I adore, I hardly know where to begin!
For instance... The waterfall. It's incredible! And, it serves as a beautiful backdrop during the ceremony. Seriously... if we're honest, not many people can say that they were married with a waterfall glistening in behind the scenes, right?! Right! Well, Rebecca and Tanner can! Then there's Rebecca's heavenly wedding gown (OMG!), the first look, the delectable dessert table, the barn & décor, and the truly captivating photographs taken by Krisandra Evans Photography. Bride, go! Go scroll, and get inspired!
Totally picturing the FAB photog laying on the floor underneath this stunning dress to capture this shot!!
A 'lil whiskey to get things started? Yes, please!
I think it's fabulous how Rebecca is sneaking up the stairs for the first look!
OMG! Totlly LOVE you guys!
WOW. Amazing dress. Amazing bouquet. Amazing shot.
There's that castle again!
The bridal party definitely has a good time together, that's for sure!!
Look closely at the "wedding" sign... Yeah, it's a bedpost! L.O.V.E.
So fun! Still with the castle! (Okay, okay! I'll get over it! But, I love it so much!)
Tanner, you happen to be a great "dipper". Again, the veil shot and this one are fucking FAB!
So, so, so AWES!
Sometimes I feel like cookies are totally underrated! They should grace many more dessert tables!
Cheers! Thank you for sharing your rustically fantastic wedding with Bitchless Bride!!
So, Kat and Jamy got married in a castle in Connecticut. I mean... Doesn't that just seem so luxurious? Right? Say it out loud with me... "Kat and Jamy got married in a castle." I love the way that sounds, and I wish you could hear the fancy way I say it! Anyway... I'll put the booze down. So, besides the whole castle thing, I heard that Kat and Jamy were a pretty awesome, laid back couple who had a wonderful wedding day. Bridey, that's what it's all about. No, not the castle, the being laid back and awesome part! Seriously, there is no reason to not enjoy your wedding day!
And, there is no reason why you aren't going to LOVE the shit out of this wedding. As you scroll down, there is a cool l'il surprise for you to appreciate. It's so FAB that I kinda got stuck on this one (big) detail. Don't ask, just see for yourself! Enjoy!
I mean.... Awwwww...
Kat, that is one hell of a diamond!
Can we just talk about fucking awesome that pic is?
These girls clearly have a great time together! And....They look damn good doing it!
I couldn't do that. I could totally see myself reaching around that door, grabbing my hus and planting a big kiss on him!
I love everything about this shot. The lighting, the drama, the gigantic urn of flowers...
That's a FAB kiss!
Yeah... That's a sailboat. Isn't that crazy? The wedding is at castle, and there is a fucking abandoned sailboat behind the property!
"No frills or fancy things." Said no bride ever... Right??? But, Samantha did!! I know, I love her already! She and Joaquin strayed from a traditional wedding reception and opted for a lovely, intimate dinner with friends and family to celebrate their nuptials. Once everybody filled their bellies with delicious food and drink, they moved the party to Gitano for some music and dancing. How fun is that?? As a couple who love to travel and drink amazing wine, sounds like the perfect evening! Oh, a cool l'il side note? Their wedding day was the anniversary of the day they met four years earlier. I mean...
Samantha and Joaquin wanted a wedding that was casual and comfortable. As a couple who truly compliment each other, Joaquin is quite the joker, and Samantha is a bit more serious, their wedding captured who they are as a couple without the stress or bullshit of conventional wedding planning. And these two? Didn't grow up in Mexico... This was a destination wedding! Joaquin grew up in Milwaukee and Samantha grew up in a small town in Minnesota. Didn't see that coming, did you? Neither did I which totally makes me love them even more!! Such great inspiration in this beautiful wedding! Enjoy!
Holy shit would I love to be there RIGHT NOW!!! Looks beautiful!
Love this pic of Samantha!
TOTALLY obsessed with Samantha's dress. You look gorgeous!!!
Joaquin, you're looking quite dapper!
I could have designed this card myself...
When you're getting married on the beach, shoes are definitely optional! Those anklets? Fantastic!!!
Samantha, Joaquin. You're a damn sexy couple.
Seriously, all I see are the sparks flying!
Love. Love. Love.
A pre-cocktail, cocktail? Don't mind if I do!
If you know my hus and me, then you know that part of what makes us tick as a couple is that we 100% push each other's buttons. We both know exactly where to push to get a rise out of the other. And, sometimes we push in good fun, and sometimes we push because we are intentionally trying to annoy the shit out of each other. But, either way, there isn't a soul alive whose buttons I'd rather push than his. Because it works. Because, we work. And Jacqelyn and Brady? They're the same way. Total button pushers.
Bridey, don't ever let someone make you second guess your relationship simply because they don't get it. As long as you and your sig other get it, then fuck the rest of them. Seriously, look up. See how Brady is looking at Jacqelyn? Does anything else really matter? No. And you know what? Their wedding is super GORGE! So, enough preaching outta me... Go scroll and enjoy!
I mean... This is too cute!
Yeah... Jameson is always good!
Jacqelyn... WOW! That is a sensational floral headpiece! OMFG!!!
Get out all of your crazies now, kiddos!!
Whoa... I thought Jacqelyn's headpiece was amazing... But, these two? So super cute!
Brideys, this is how you want your sig other to look at you during your ceremony... As if nothing else exists; as if you two are the only ones in the world at that moment in time.
Push my buttons is what I say!
Jacqelyn and her bridesmaids were down to the wire finishing the centerpieces (on the wedding day) even after working all day, and night. It was worth it, but sometimes DIY can make you cry!
This little girl has got some serious gumption. She's definitely on a mission. And, she's beautiful!
Thank you Jacqelyn and Brady for sharing your kickass wedding with Bitchless Bride!
Absolutely stunning. Wouldn't you say, bridey? And modest too... Not too overdone, yet a powerful entrance to a beautiful ceremony. You're going to see a lot of that in Ashley and Ryan's wedding. Seriously, this post is the perfect mix of modest and enticing. The details are simple and smart. The reception is warm and quite colorful all the way down to the chairs and the cocktails! Plus, there is a grooms cake that is so fucking cool that you almost don't want to eat it. ALMOST. It is chocolate after all... Anyway, enjoy this incredibly seductive and lovely wedding!
Hi Jimmy... I love you.Not gonna lie, lovin' all the bling! Look up! Okay, now look down! Yeah... I'm a complete stereotype... Who doesn't love diamonds?I love how Ashley is putting on her hot pink lipstick before picture time! Think I got that Bobbi Brown color!D.A.M.N. Ashley... You are STUN NING!!! I love everything about how look!! The dress, the hair, the lipstick! OMG!!And, let's not forget about Ryan... Hello GORGEOUS! Seriously, you two are quite the beautiful couple!Love. Passion. Heat. Sexy. Just a few words that come to mind when I see Ashley and Ryan together.WOW! That's a giant bridal party!!! Bhaaaaaaa!!! This is hilarious!Great shot!
Bridey, you know me. Therefore you know that I am completely exhilarated (actually, perhaps a bit obsessed) with Vegas or any posh casino for that matter. So, when I saw Rebecca and Sandy's Atlantic City wedding, there was no question that I just had to share it with you. And, not just because of the whole gambling, casino thing, but because I love that the B+G tied the knot on the marina, stole some GORGE shots on the beach, gambled in the casino and then partied all night long. Seriously, they were able to bring so many elements into their wedding day, so not only was memorable and fun for them, but fun for the guests too! LOVE IT!
By the time you are done taking in the cool deets, you will be seeing blue. No, really, you will! From the blue shoes (on both the B+G), blue ties, blue finger and toe nails, blue flowers, blue water, etc... I really mean it when I say this wedding will leave you feeling blue (but, in a good way, obvi!!). Enjoy!
I cannot get over the gorgeous bead work on Becca's wedding dress.Um... LOVE the fucking FAB blue wedding shoes!Amazing bouquet of flowers, and I love the photograph. Such a lovely way to pay tribute to a loved one who has passed without getting sad.OB SES SED with the blue! OBSESSED! And, I am lovin' the breast cancer awareness cuff links.Awwwww.... So cute!We did it!!! Romantic and fun... A perfect blend!Roll 'em baby!!Oh yeah!!!
When you exchange vows at a succulent sanctuary (um, how cool is that?!!), it's only fitting that succulents line the dinner table, right? And, seriously, look how gorgeous they are!! OMG! I'm such a sucker for succulents! Anyway, bridey, I love everything about Emily and Rob's wedding. The succulents, the trip down the hacienda stairs to the aisle, the DIY elements and dinner at the FAB French restaurant, Le Valluris. I'm like a broken record when I say that your wedding day should completely encapsulate who you are as a couple, and obviously, that means different elements for each couple.
Emily and Rob certainly succeeded in capturing their nuptial spirit (Whoa... just go with it... No, I'm not high, just intoxicated by this lovely wedding...). Between the desert heat, the sanctuary and the La Vallauris, I'd say I have a pretty good feel of who they are as a couple even without ever having met them. So, bridey, go meet Emily and Rob and be inspired!
LOVE Emily's dress!! So FAB and delicious!I'm a 'lil bit obsessed with the bouquet... Fans were definitely necessary. The temperature topped out at 108 degrees!!! OMG!Yup! Emily is fabulous barefoot bride! Look down!LOVE how they are looking at each other!Gotta put some sneakers on to wander around the Palm Springs desert!Entirely breathtaking!Succulent place cards/favors... I mean... Awesome! Fantastic DIY aspects!FREEZE FRAME! Who else wants one? Fuck yeah!!I'll have one of those too!I want one of everything! Cuban cigar and some Crown Royal anybody? Thank you Emily and Rob for sharing your fantastically awesome HOT wedding day with BB!
When I see Brianna and Dan all dolled on their wedding day, I can't help but picture them in wet suits. In my head, they are the epitome surf Barbie and surf Ken. Each with long, beautiful golden hair, slight figures and radiant smiles; all they're missing is a surf board. But, I'm thinking that it probably wouldn't look right with a wedding dress, right? Especially the gorgeous gown Brianna is wearing like a glove. And it would be a shame for those sparkly Kate Spade shoes to be sinking in the sand...
Anyway... See how Brianna is jumping on the bed in her dress? She is officially my hero. Seriously. Bridey, look at her face! Exuding nothing except pure happiness and joy... Just like you should be on your wedding day, right? Excited and happy! And, I would be too if I was marrying my surf soul mate on a perfect day, and had planned such and incredible wedding filled with fantastic décor and lovely details. So... get to it! Enjoy!!
I have decided to treat myself to this fucking FAB pair of Kate Spade shoes!Again, bridey, I want each of you to mimic Brianna on your wedding day. Look up! Look down! That's it!Hello handsome, Dan.First look pics definitely make my eyes well up...It really doesn't get more romantic, right? One more kiss before we walk down the aisle!WOW!Brianna, I want to be friends, okay?LOVE LOVE LOVE!Chalk board instead of escort cards... FAB! And, I love how each table is a flower instead of a number.I mean... Can we just talk about the lace tablecloths and stunning eyecandy?!!Brianna, Dan... I love the pics with you kissing! So emotional and passionate for each other!!!

Look how beautiful!!! Seriously, could ya' bust? Totally reminds me of my fantasy bachelorette party post!! Now, imagine getting married on a mountain top, and then partying the night away at this beautiful venue. Right? Can I get a, "fuck yeah"?!! Seriously, talk about a memorable evening (or weekend!)! And, know what I absolutely love about Jessi (and Nick)? This girl had the balls to get married outside (as in host the ceremony outside!!) in March! WOW! That's pretty impressive and unique! Although, when you see all the incredible deets, bridey, you won't be too surprised.
Pepper, with Pepper Nix Photography, (my new FAVE and FAB photographer!) asked the bride quite a few questions about her wedding plans, overall experience, etc. My favorite? Scroll down and see Jessi's advice for future brides.... Clearly, Jessi was a Bitchless Bride! Enjoy!
Hello GORGEOUS canary diamond... WOW!!!I love this photograph...OBSESSED with the shoes and the gold toes! Why a Mountain Wedding? Nick and I love to ski. It is something we have been doing since we were very young. Additionally, when we first started dating it was something we did together several times a week. We also love, love, love the mountains, fresh air, and fantastic perspective their majesty brings!
Lovin' the ass grab!I love the wedding dress and the snow boots!I had all my bridesmaids pick their own dresses. I told them blue, above the knee, and no sleeves. They all picked out dresses that were incredibly flattering and somehow it worked out. Additionally they all wore printed black tights. I bought them coats and boots to keep them warm. One of my bridesmaids, Christina, made muffs (instead of flowers) and we all had a fantastic time making crass poses with them. (HA! Obviously, BB LOVES this!)
So so so cute! What brand new elements did you bring to the day? Getting married outside in the snow. The planner was a bit apprehensive, but I stuck to my guns and am glad I did.Best pic ever!! Did you follow that tradition and if so, what did you use? Yes, yes, yes...Old was my mothers ring in my bouquet, new was my dress, borrowed was ring from my aunt Ginny that she wore on her wedding day, and blue was my shoes.
Any advice you have for future brides? Take a deep breath when you are up front and look at everyone who is supporting you. Two, don't get so caught up in the details that you forget what you are doing, joining two people together. Three, surround yourself with people you love...don't be obligated to invite people or put people in your bridal party who you don't want there. Four, hire someone to do things the day of...it was the best decision we made. Five, make a weekend of it. We did a pub crawl on Friday night and it was so fun. We had many activities and stayed together, so it felt like a vacation!
Look at this room, bridey! OMG! So warm and beautiful without being overdone!Such a romantic couple! What did you serve? A sit-down plated dinner of our signature pistachio nut encrusted Utah trout with local wild mushroom and truffle mashed potatoes, grilled filet mignon and a vegan friendly grilled polenta cake napoleon with a smoked tomato puree. We wanted something less traditional, so we opted for a brown cake with swirls. Honestly, Nick and I were hanging out with my aunt and she asked us a couple questions about what we liked and what we absolutely didn't want. In the end we told he she had complete creative control and the cake was deish! So many people came up to us and told us it was the best cake they had ever had, maybe it was because there was no fondant!
I really, really love this wedding. I know I tend to say that a lot when I post weddings on Bitchless Bride, but you know what? I only post what I love, and what I think you will love too, bridey... And, this is no exception! Just wait until you see all of the goodies in store for you! So, get ready to pin your heart out because these pics are chock full of some serious inspiration!
Dana and Glenda put together this stunning wedding filled with juicy DIY touches (OMG! Wait until you see the brooch bouquet!!), cool ass décor and tasty tid bits all the way down to the superhero bow ties (and socks) the groomsmen wore. Right? I am absolutely in love with the escort cards, and everything alcoholic (you'll see what I mean!). So, bridey... Are you ready to be inspired? Good! Ready, set, go!I'm drooling over the hair...Are you fucking kidding me? LOOK at this GORGEOUS bouquet! Holy DIY...So sweet. My eyes are welling as I type...SUCH a great idea... And beautifully done too!So happy together... Fabulous photograph!Look up! Okay... Now, look down!!! I know... I want the shoes too. Those are some super unique escort cards!
I have to say, I love that I keep seeing weddings which rock a cool mixture of nature and rustic fabulousness, and then completely switch gears, hosting their reception in a super modern venue. Talk about having the best of both worlds! Right? Get married outside; be close to nature, take some beautiful photographs and then party in a space that’s fit for a rock star. That’s what Nica and Matt did! They held their ceremony in a park in Emerald Lake and then partied at the funky Pumphouse Hotel in Melbourne. Seriously, how FAB is that? A lovely ceremony followed by some photos in the gardens, and then hop on a fire truck and get carted to the next location! LOVE IT!! Matt volunteers for the Country Fire Authority (CFA), so it really was a perfect nod to his crew!
But, what I love the most? Nica and Matt tied their love for nature and appreciation for modern design together. They uplit the event space, hung paper lanterns, lit them, and danced the night away! Oh yeah! And take a look at their cake. It is so fabulous that I can hardly stand it! Nica and Matt didn’t try to match the cake with the space; in fact, it totally clashes (in a good way) and it’s fucking cool. Anyway, bridey… Go enjoy!Nica, if that isn't genuine happiness, then I don't know what is. You're incredibly beautiful and relaxed! How funny are these pics?!!!I'm sure that cutie was just dying to bust into those bubbles!!Love the standing ceremony...It's official!
