Purple Wedding

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Fashion-Forward, Super Stylish, Super Glam NYC Wedding

I've had the privilege of working with Ed from Zorz Studios, and as you are about to see, his work is positively sensational. His shots are unique, his perspective eccentric and his demeanor, lovely; something that emanates out of each and every photograph. That coupled with a truly electrifying and cool couple is a recipe for a some spectacular images!

Bridey, I have said it over and over again... Lighting changes everything! And, Dana & John's wedding is no exception. Yes the décor is beautiful, but it is eye-popping with the lighting. Trust me, you won't want to miss anything as you scroll. So, get ready for some fantastic inspiration, some holyshitINEEDthose shoes, and a ton of fun as you take in Dana & John's wedding!
The invitation? A mockup of New York Weddings magazine designed and printed for this kickass couple!OMG. Fucking GORGEOUS pic! Dana, your legs look A MAZ ING, and those shoes? WOW!CLB for men... LOVE IT!Dying over the look on her face!OMG... Dana totally looks like a princess! Totally beautiful! The B+G grew up on the same block and have known each other their whole lives. I love that they stopped for a drink before the reception!Amazing shot of the World Trade Center...Gotta have a few shots in Brooklyn where they had their very first kiss! That champagne thing really works!!Stunning!I love everything about the venue, décor and vibe! And as you know, bridey, I am particularly obsessed with the lighting! Completely changes everything!

Fantasy Friday ~ A "Sweet" and Stunning, DIY Hawaiian Wedding

Aren't you dying over Jessica's hair? I mean the length, and the pure gorgeousness of the curls + the purple flower are enough to give me some serious hair envy. But, aside from the stunning nature of the bride, can we talk about how Aaron is looking at Jessica? Right? His face exudes utter joy; utter happiness. And Jessica? Well, you can tell, even by the back of her head, that she is smiling from ear to ear at Aaron. That, my dear bridey is what getting married is about... Utter joy and happiness.

Jessica and Aaron met while Jessica was waitressing. Talk about a tip! Meeting the love of your life is a pretty awesome way to end your shift! Right?? The two are avid travelers, so it seemed only natural for Aaron to propose to Jessica while in Tuscany, Italy surrounded by its vast beauty. As for the wedding, the B+G returned to Hawaii to say their vows (they currently live in Guam), and the majority of items were DIY, including the ENTIRE sweet table (WOW!). Yup! The bride made all of the desserts herself, and her FAB wedding planner plated them on platters out of reused glassware. That's some serious dedication! Anyway... Enjoy the AMAZE deets of Jessica and Aaron's wedding!

Bling bling.Jessica, you look sensational, and so at ease.Beautiful. Just beautiful.LOVE IT!!!! That look is absolutely priceless! What a fabulous idea for the programs! I love the benches and rose petal lined aisle. This pic... OMG... This pic... I love it so much.

Fantasy Friday ~ A Passion for Purple... A Deliciously Decadent Styled Shoot

In case you didn’t know, purple is the color of good judgment (I know! Right??), and as it turns out, radiant orchid is the Pantone wedding color for 2014. How cool is that?? So bridey, if you’re incorporating purple into your wedding day, then clearly you have some seriously fantastic judgment! Recognizing that a purple color palette is a fantastic way to express oneself, some splendidly creative and talented wedding vendors teamed up with a cool venue in Dover, Massachusetts, The Connors Center, and rocked this radiant orchid palette so hard that I can hardly stand it! When I was done picking up jaw off of my desk, I immediately jumped at the chance to share this shoot with you. (Psst! Hey Boston brideys! Look to your right... Bitchless Bride is coming to Boston!)

Bridey, there is so much to look at in this post, that I am about two shakes away from freaking out! I mean from the grounds of The Connors Center, to vases of allium and viburnum on the place card table, to the remarkable Indian inspired linen, to the bride’s STUNNING bouquet to the awesome purple wedding cake with a big-ass antique gold flower… OMG, the list goes on and on! Like, there’s even a purple wedding dress with a freaking tutu and then a costume change into a gorgeous white wedding gown. And the fact that I am jealous of the flower girl’s dress might mean that there is something truly wrong with me. Anyway, I think I am officially write/rambling, so I will let you get to it! Scroll away! Enjoy this one! Um, I think it’s clear that I did. Seriously, I think I need a cold shower…

Holy moly! Look at this place! Hi. I need this dress. That's all.Lovely costume change! And the grounds of The Connors Center are perfect for a wedding!I cannot get over the amazing florals in this shoot! Absolutely incredible!I mean... I can't... The gold tutu, the purple shoes and the overall cuteness is going to throw me over the edge.Hypnotiq is one badass drink... Look it up. I bet it's delicious with Prosecco. Definitely a "dazzler"!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ A Beautiful Harmony

I really, really, really love that Melissa and Robert met on eHarmony. I mean, it feels like yesterday, when I first started planning weddings, that people still met in bars... Just kidding (I mean I met my husband in a bar, but we all can't be that lucky now can we?), but seriously? I do remember when meeting online was somewhat of a faux pas. And now, it's totally commonplace. Seriously, today I'm like a walking advertisement for online dating sites! Just read what Melissa had to say about meeting Robert, and the rest of the deets!

Rachel: "Robert & I met on eHarmony. We actually both remember looking at each other’s profiles. After he saw that I viewed his, he emailed me. We started communicating around Thanksgiving in 2010 and just talked for a few weeks. We went on our first date on 12/11/10 at Cuba Cuba in Denver (Robert is ½ Cuban). We hit it off on our first date and the rest is history!"

Yeah... Wedding Paper Divas! Truly stunning invitations, don't you think?I know that I shouldn't tell you this, but I am really proud of how my little mash up of photographs turned out. I am a wedding planner, not a web designer, and I'm pretty proud! Just sayin'...So honest. So lovely.Loving the purple!!Such a proud papa!! Melissa is barely holding it together...

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Allow Me to Show You a Sand Ceremony, Henna and Tons of Purple!

I love all of the colorful details encapsulated in Jennifer and Shelia's wedding. Not only was it a beautiful day to get married, but their story is quite beautiful too! You see, both their ceremony and reception took place at the Coronado Community Center which happens to be just down the street from where Sheila had popped the question. I mean, how cool is it that their wedding essentially allowed them to share their engagement with their friends and family too? Right? LOVE IT!

But, seriously, bridey... Check out the amazing ceremony! I do love a sand ceremony and what it represents, and I especially love the kick ass colors they choose to blend! Click on the link to see what it all means... It's pretty fucking cool.

A little note from the photographer, Jennifer Corbin: Their wedding day was an incredible day full of joy, love and emotion. The toast from Sheila’s brother was filled with laughs and tears and lots of love for his sister. One of my favorite parts was when Sheila’s cousins did a traditional dance for the newlyweds. In all honestly the day went by so quickly, and before I knew it I was saying goodbye to the sweet couple. Thank you Jennifer and Shelia for allowing me to be a part of your big day, I know I will think back on it fondly for years to come.

Beautiful henna... Simply stunning... Lovin' the purple shoes too!!
Awwwww.... I love the first look. I really, really do!!
Incredible! I totally dig their nails too... I see a party nail!! Oh yeah!YEAH!!!!!!

A MAZ ING!!!!! Such beautifully passionate colors!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Timing Really is Everything

Sarah and Griffin... I mean... it really doesn't get much cuter than this couple. Right? LQQK up (OMG... I really needed to do the thing with the QQs). I truly love everything about their story, including the timing. I hate to sound cliche, but timing really is everything. This couple had mutual friends all throughout college and didn't meet until the summer of their last year. How is that possible? But, who knows... Had they met earlier, maybe it wouldn't have happened. Maybe this wouldn't have made it to BB because it never would have been...

A blurb from the bride: Griffin and I met the summer of our last year in college. Despite having mutual friends and being at the same events our paths didn’t cross until a night of dancing with friends in Arlington, VA, right as the summer was ending. It started out with texts and long phone calls and became weekends of visiting each other back and forth. A year later Griffin’s military career started, sending him to Fort Knox, Fort Sill, Fort Hood and Iraq while I remained in Virginia. In the winter of 2011, with Griffin home safe from deployment, we started planning our journey to Fort Hood with one last goodbye party with family and friends. It was at this party where Griffin finally surprised me by getting down on one knee in front of our closest family and friends. On April 13, 2013 we had our intimate, garden wedding at the Birkby House and are living the married life in Texas with our furry children, Raja, Dobby, and Penny.

Are you totally DY ING over her hair? Love the do and love the bling! Some serious veil love happening here...Griffin, you're totally adorbs! Looks like a fun group of guys!Lovely.Um... This is SUPER clever. Seriously, why not play "I Spy" when it really counts like at a wedding instead of a long, boring car ride? "I spy with my little eye, the groom watching the bride from a distance..." LOVE IT!A splash of color in the writing...How could you not love the pig wedding cake toppers? Can't miss this!!Oh... Look at the little love birds!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ I WISH I Was This Cool

I think the title says it all, don't you? Everything about this wedding is my fantasy. EVERYTHING! (Oh! And it's exclusively on Bitchless Bride!!) Let's see... We have an absolutely stunning color pallet, an absolutely gorgeous bride, and frankly... an absolutely hot groom. Need I say more? I mean... Right? This wedding is my fantasy. Because as cool as I am, I will never be THIS cool.

Seriously, if it weren't for my intense fear of needles, I'd probably be covered in tattoos myself, so I find that I'm drawn to those brave enough to endure the pain of the tattoo. Not only that, but the details in this wedding are fucking fabulous! I am DY ING over the purple. DY ING! Look at how well done, and how incredible the colors are! Simple and elegant. Amazing. Wow!

So, my dear bridey, you are cordially invited to love, admire, and try to replicate this fucking awesome wedding. Let's pretend for a moment that we are all this cool. Let's pretend that we are as cool as Sabrina and Erik. Shall we? Enjoy...

If Sabrina gets any more beautiful, I think I may actually fall over.

I am lovin' the richness of the bridesmaids dresses.
