Fantasy Friday ~ Leaf Peeping Ladies Tie the Knot in Vermont

It's okay... I really didn't know what a leaf peeper was either... But, I loved the idea of it because of the way it sounds! Right? You know you do too!! Anything with the word "peeper" in the phrase, certainly has my full attention. Here's the definition of leaf peeping. Pretty cool, huh? And, that's how Ann and Penny met in 1990. They were leaf peeping in Vermont (there's that phrase again!!), and it was love at first sight.

So, to honor their leaf peeping anniversary, Ann and Penny got married 22 years later where it all started, in Vermont. Their fall foliage-inspired wedding included a colorful, fall, leaf-decorated cake, and took place during the heart of Vermont's leaf peeping season to commemorate those fall leaves that brought them together. Awww...

OMG! Look at that face! That is some serious flower-girl 'tude! This is how fast it goes, brideys. In a flash! Pretty much all of my couples tell me that their wedding day goes by in super fast, and when they do, this is what I picture...I can't... It's just so sweet. LOL!!! The kids in this wedding are absolutely adorable!!

Fantasy Friday ~ I'm A Crushin'

Every wedding planner dreams of orchestrating an amazing event she's never done before. I mean, there's something to be said for doing something new, dammit! Right? A new idea, some new décor... basically anything that's fucking new in general will be exciting for those of us have have "been there done that" in the case of weddings past. And you know what? My fantasy? A fucking candy crush wedding! That's right? CANDY CRUSH WEDDING! Because I don't know about you, but sometimes, I actually choose to "crush" instead of pin! Seriously, what the fuck is that about? I'm obsessed with Pinterest, but sometimes... all I want to do is just crush it!

Soooo... me being me, I started thinking about how cool it would be to mix two of my favorite things in the world. Planning weddings, and candy crush. How awesome would it be to throw a candy crush wedding? I mean... it would be super colorful, and quite delicious, right? So, check this out... THIS is my Candy Crush fantasy wedding... Let's start with some cake... Look down!!

Don't you just want to dig in? Seriously. Give me a... Screw it! How needs a fork?Sweet!!!! Love this cake topper!!!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Because Wednesday I'm in Love (Australia Style AGAIN!)

I mean... There are no words. Seriously, I cannot even begin to put into words how absolutely awesome (sorry mom! I used the word "awesome" again!) this photograph is. Right? Who's with me? This is SO much better than smashing messy cake in each other's face (and a whole lot cleaner too)! Not only does it make for a fantastic photo, but it certainly encapsulates a memorable wedding day moment. Come to think of it... to me, this picture seems to capture the energy of the event. It's pure happiness.

Some weddings just speak to me, and this wedding? Well, it really spoke to me. I must have gone through these photographs a million times, not because I was arranging the order for the post, but because they feel meaningful to me even though I wasn't there and don't even know the bride and groom. No, I haven't been hitting the sauce, brideys, but, nonetheless, I feel totally intoxicated and my body warm with love.

What grabbed me about this wedding is the simplicity. The bride and groom seem completely at ease; it's clear that they are enjoying every second of their day, and the intimate group of guests are relishing in the glow of the beautiful surroundings.

Justine's wedding dress is lovely. I am downright melting over the beadwork, and the fit? A MAZ ING!

The hair and makeup are just beautiful. The three flowers off to the side... priceless.

OMG... How adorable is the groom? Seriously! As I mentioned, I have seen these pictures a million times, and each time I see this particular one of Angus, I want to hug him.
