Red Wedding

Fantasy Friday ~ A Kickass, Rock 'N' Roll, Destination Wedding

Are you totally dying over this photograph? I mean... The kiss with the hands (OMG...So romantic!), the smiling bride as she kisses her groom, the tat, the sky?? Right? I love that this is real. You know what I mean, bridey? A real wedding photograph. Not a styled shoot. Not a magazine spread. A real, fucking cool wedding photograph! And, you know what? There are more where that came from! Because Lindsay and Dave are just that cool, so obvi their wedding is going to be cool too!

The other thing that makes this wedding stand out to me is that the B+G are from Canada and decided to host a destination wedding in Mexico. Not only that, but these two crazy kids, and their wedding, are rockin' a whole bunch of red. Yup! RED! Everything from Lindsay's wedding dress, to Dave's bow tie to the flowers to the chairs and more! Okay, enough out of me! Time for you to go enjoy this kickass, rock 'n' roll, destination wedding!
I LOVE the red. Like, seriously LOVE the super bright red!
I always show the girls getting ready before the guys, so today, I thought I would show the boys first!
Lindsay got dressed by herself and then surprised her bridesmaids... So fun!
That bouquet is FAB!!
Simply stunning. I am completely obsessed with the deep red décor against the blue ocean.
Love how the guys are all wearing different bow ties. So cool!
Probably one of may favorite pics to grace the "pages" of Bitchless Bride.
Lindsay, you look amazing! Like, OMFG amazing!
You know what they always say... A couple with matching shoes...
Def going to steal this idea from the B+G!
Apparently, after the first dance, the music got loud, the people up and the dancing got crazy!
Thank you for sharing your cool destination wedding with Bitchless Bride!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Game of Thrones Styled Wedding Shoot

Brideys, this is a cool shoot. Scratch that... This a fascinating shoot. And you know what? You don't even need to be a an avid TV watcher or Game of Thrones watcher to appreciate the eye candy or gather inspiration for your wedding. There is so much to look at, and so much to see, that for the life of me I cannot stop looking at these pics! And you know what? I am fair weather Game of Thrones watcher (only because my brides and Bitchless Bride keep me so busy that there is no time!). That said, I will let the peeps with Mollie Tobias Photography take it away...

"“I am his and he is mine, from this day until the end of my days.” ~ Talisa Stark... With Game of Thrones returning April 6th for it’s 4th Season, we used the inspiration of Robb Stark and Talisa Maegyr for this photo shoot. In the wake of the Red Wedding, we are taking a look back at our favorite couple and the rivalry between the Houses Stark and Lannister."

Mimicking a medieval feast, we created an opulent table setting to contrast with the rustic and crumbling scenery.
Building a centerpiece through a grape wood branch provided an organic element and asymmetry to the table, merging the luxuriousness of Court with the rural starkness of the North Wall
We used the Deer Head for Bartheon.
This disparity is also echoed in the elegance of Talisa’s gold lace gown with beaded necklace and the natural elements of feathers and leather in the bouquet and boutonnière. Wrapped in a fur, she embodies being Queen of the North.

Fantasy Friday ~ Code Red!

I'm using you today, bridey. I mean, I'm hoping you get some inspiration from this post because it fucking rocks, but today, it's all about me. Yup! Today I needed Bitchless Bride to help me brainstorm an idea that has been swirling around in my cray cray little head for the last two weeks, and finally feels ready to put on "paper". So, there won't be a real wedding or a styled shoot today. Nope! This one is strictly for moi. (BTW... are you totally dying over that red headpiece? RIGHT??)

The fantasy? The dream wedding? Code red! Yup! You read that right! Code fucking red y'all!! Yeah...This bride wants an all red wedding.... Like super fucking red. Like, red is going to explode from event red... And, you know what? I intend on giving it to her. But, it's got to be classy. It's got to be flashy and most of all, it can't be cheesy.

So, the "boards" encapsulated in this post? Well, they will give you a little insight as to how my crazy mind works (or at the very least, how it's digesting the specifications around  this particular wedding). And honestly, I have no rhyme or reason to what I mashed together, but I like how it looks. Reminds me of organized chaos. The best part? "Diablo",  that's what I call bride behind her back (yes, we all have nick names for you, brideys), she's going to fucking love it, and I hope you do too...
Like I said... there is no particular rhyme to my reason today... All I know is that I need a few options for a signature drink, and I NEED a drink, so here are my thoughts... Champagne with strawberry puree or some strawberry with some freakin' moonshine (although I don't think it's red enough), or maybe the strawberry shortcake martini... Think that may be the winner!
