Save the Date

Fantasy Friday ~ A Las Vegas Engagement and Elopement!

Bridey, by this point, you know that I am absolutely obsessed with Las Vegas, so when I saw this FAB Las Vegas engagement shoot and wedding (all within two days) of Britney and Jon; I totally jumped up and down! This is an amazing elopement with some super cool deets and ideas specifically to take care of their guests all while encapsulating the insanely deep connection between Britney and Jon.

This San Francisco couple did not want a traditional white wedding, so what are a girl and boy to do? Oh yeah! Grab your guests, head to Las Vegas, get married at the Little White Wedding Chapel by an Elvis impersonator and have the time of your life! Right? Right! Bridey, if you feel like Britney, Jon and I are speaking to you through their completely awesome wedding, then just wait until you see the Save the Dates,  pink Cadillac and wedding day(s) itinerary and your decision to elope (to Vegas) will be made! Enjoy!Love this photograph, and I'm completely in LOVE with Britney's shoes!I mean... How fucking FAB is this???WOW! Britney, you are truly beautiful! Love how you're rockin' the bright red lipstick! Totally a girl after my own heart!Holy shit. That's an incredible dress!Awwwwww.....Such a cool pic!Yup! There's an ass behind them. And you know what? I kinda love it!

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ When the Love of Books Leads to Love and Marriage

My mom always said how important it was to read. Right? Yours did too I bet... She said that losing yourself in a book was probably one of the greatest (and cheapest) escapes that one could find. Clearly, Candace and Sean got a lot more than simply losing themselves in a book when they met while working for a major book publisher. It was their shared love of books that brought them together, and helped them to create a beautifully charming and thoughtful theme for their NJ wedding.

These two lovebirds really tied it all together... They sent out library card-styled Save-the-Dates, selected books as wedding favors... INDIVIDUALLY! Like thought about each guest, and paired them with perfect book to several goodies strewn throughout the wedding. Bridey, if you're looking for some amazing inspiration, look no further! Enjoy this FAB wedding!!!

Candace, this is how all brides should be on their wedding day!Love. Love. Love. Sean, you're absolutely adorable!!!Candace and Sean's first look took place at Columbus Park (around the corner from their apartment). These group shots are so much better than the waterfront, right? This B+G didn't let a little rain get them down! Seriously! Take a peek at the next pic!I know it's a strange thing to love, but if you had to choose umbrellas, these are perfect for photographs!Sean, those dimples! You look incredibly happy...Beautiful ceremony, and a great kiss!!!

Fantasy Friday ~ A Downtown Denver, Save the Date Engagement Shoot

I am a sucker for these photographs. Seriously, look at the fabulous dip happening! Right?!! In the middle of the street... OMG! I love the element of danger (I mean, shit... there are cars coming!)... It's fun. It's sexy. And, perhaps it's because I have always wanted to be "dipped" or perhaps it's because Kiri and Michael are definitely the "cool couple", but either way, these engagement pics tell an awesome story and double as pretty kick ass save the dates too!

Bridey, if you are looking for a way to capture your engagement AND need some save the dates, then let Kiri and Michael lead the way. These pics are interesting and tell a story. I find that I am curious to see what happens next. The locations (and the "costume changes") will draw you into the web that is Kiri and Michael and entice you too!

Kiri, you are adorable! I love the look on your face! But, Michael... The way you're looking at Kiri... Hot damn.OMG. Here he goes again!Gotta love the smile kiss!HAHA! This one makes me laugh...So sexy. So cute.

Real Wedding Wednesday ~ Up Up and Away... An "Up" Inspired Styled Shoot with a Real Couple

Guillaume + Michelle, Michelle + Guillaume, OMG, could ya' bust over this "Up" inspired styled shoot? I mean... It's exactly what I needed. So, today, I chose to show you something else besides a real wedding, because when I saw these pics, I instantly became happy. And honestly, even though you would never know it (because I'm fucking fantastically gifted at masking my melancholy with a smiley face), I'm kinda going through a bit of a rough time personally, and I was desperate for a smile. Needless to say, when I saw all of the rainbows, and eye candy, I couldn't resist.

As you browse these spectacular photographs (side note... spectacular is my dad's favorite word; true story...) I think you will agree with me when I say that Michelle + Guillaume are adorable. Seriously, you'll see it in every.single.photograph. And, Michelle is totally my kind of girl. This chick can hardly stop laughing throughout the shoot, and even though I wasn't there, it's obvious that she is having the time of her life, and it's heartwarming (see, I'm totally mushy right now...). Anyway, before I start crying, I'll shut up. Enjoy!

LOVE the balloons and all of the color!!Michelle is so trying not to laugh, right?Amazing save the date. Amazing dress. Super Stylish Sunday ~ All That Glitters Should be Gold!

I love everything about this shoot. What can I say? I guess I'm in a gold place right now. Seriously, I've been sporting my grandmother's gold antique wedding band, and rockin' a ton of gold accessories these days. So, it's no surprise that when this submission came in, I (Wow!! OMG! I almost just used a really dirty phrase to describe how I felt)... AHEM... I got really excited. I think it's pretty obvious why... Because these photographs are fucking awesome! I really love the black and gold. Like REALLY love it. I'm also a big fan of the print on the linen. And not just the print, but the texture! Yeah, bridey, the black print is actually velvet. Right??? (I'm totally refraining from any velvet jokes right now.)

Anyway, the other day, my mom asked me why I share styled shoots on BB. Totally valid question (for somebody outside of the industry), so I told her that wedding inspiration is half the battle. Once a bride finds her path; her inspiration... then her wedding journey comes to life and starts to fall into place. For instance, you, bridey, may browse these photographs and suddenly decide that you are as excited as I am about gold and black, and BAM! A fucking light bulb goes off, and now you can see your wedding. Know what I mean? Well, now mama BB gets it too... So, hopefully this will be your light bulb... Enjoy!

Picture this absolutely incredible table at your wedding reception. Just add some gold flatware, and BOOM! You're done... Amazing!
