If I were to look inward, I would definitely see a few themes coursing through my veins. One, I am totally in a Kate Spade place. My biz card holder is KS and says "let's do lunch", (they didn't have one that said, "let's do booze"), I have been rockin' some serious KS accessories, and I've been dancing around in some glittery KS shoes. And, including this fucking KICK ASS Kate Spade, industrial glam shoot, this is my second KS themed something posted in the last week... The other theme? I'm homesick for Chicago. Seriously, this month alone, I have posted three Chicago weddings. Perhaps it's because I am drawn to the beauty of the city or maybe it's coincidence, but either way... That's what's going on with me.
Anyway, there is so much color, and texture and pure electricity captured this shoot that I really won't be able to give it justice unless I shut up and let you start scrolling. I can't even tell you my favorite aspect of these pics because every.single.photograph is sensational. I mean, bridey... Talk about inspiration! Enjoy this one because it's FABULOUS!WOW! These invitations are from Wedding Paper Divas! Love the stripes!!
Can I get an OMFG? WOW! Oh my fucking God! The dress, the shoes, the textures! OH MY!
I cannot get over this bouquet! So gorgeous!
Again with the stripes! SO awesome! And, I love the cumberbund!!!
I seriously don't know who's prettier!
I love the rawness of the space combined with elegance of the chairs...
STUN NING table! LOVE the gold cloth!! And the pink! And the MR. & MRS. I just love the whole thing!
I am a stripes fanatic (you should see my closet, probably just like Kate Spade!), and the table runner is so amazing!!
This shoot? It's super cool. It's fantastically awesome. It's insanely creative. Bridey, I know I say this a lot, but I am OB SES SED with this styled shoot. Like, I can't stop looking at the photographs, and I could hardly wait to share it with you! There is so much eye candy and inspiration encapsulated in this New Orleans inspired shoot that to say you will be left wanting more, would be a tremendous understatement. Therefore, I am cutting myself short so that you can get to the good stuff, and become as obsessed with this enchanting shoot as I am.
Such a beautiful table and cool menus!Love the beads, but the jewels? Fucking AWES!!OMG!! Totally love these cookies! I would kill to see these on a dessert station at an actual wedding!!I mean... The China, the décor and the cookies! WOW!Pecan pie... One of the first things I learned how to make in culinary school. Looks delish!Seriously? That's one hell of a bouquet!Dapper looking group. Love the bridesmaids dresses! One of my fave pics ever! I love the green nail polish. I love the dresses. I love the flowers.
The talented group of vendors that created this stunning styled shoot said that their inspiration was "romantic elegance". And holy shit did they achieve it!! But, my inspiration? Stunning photographs minus the drama. I wanted to show you a glimpse of what hiring amazing vendors (and trusting their ability) can do for your wedding, bridey, but I didn't feel like the drama today. Because this planner needs a break from the reality of wedding planning even if it is for just one post... I need a break from discussing wedding budgets, complicated family dynamics and overbearing MOBs (mother of the bride). I need a break from being needed. And, I bet I'm not alone. Your vendors probably could use a break too...
That's why I decided to show you a cool ass styled shoot rather than a real wedding today. I wanted some eye candy without the side of hysteria. I wanted to see and share pretty pictures without being involved emotionally. I wanted to show you what a group of amazing vendors can do without limitations and micro management. So, bridey, I invite you to breathe in these gorgeous pics, let go of the drama in your life (even if it's for just a bit), enjoy the creativity of these imaginative vendors and be inspired!
I swear, this royal blue is sparkling! I am OBSESSED with the tree! Look down...
The royal blue linen, the pattered accoutrements and even a striking table number. Oh my!
I love the glittery ribbon around the base of the centerpiece.
I didn't expect the rustic garden chairs, but I love how they complete the look!
Holy shit with the cake. Need some close-ups? Look down...
I literally drooled over this one, brideys. I mean... The sweet table is so delectable that I actually had to go get myself a damn fancy cupcake (okay, two) in preparation of this post so that I could make it through without raiding my kitchen. Yeah... I have cupcake issues. The sweet table together with the stunning wedding gowns and sexy bridesmaid dress (yup... you read that correctly... S E X Y BRIDESMAID DRESS) makes this styled shoot the perfect mix of delicious and hot. Totally my kind of show...
Annie Chang from L'Estelle Photography said that the, "aim is high fashion, with a destination feel. The location is a unique rocky landscape at a beach, located within Whytecliff Park, in West Vancouver, BC, and is perfect for our concept. We used soft bridal colors, like pastel pink and white, with darker colors like purple and black, to produce a more dramatic and fashion theme."
Fucking sexy and soft all at the same time!Could you just die over this mermaid gown? LOVE the asymmetrical sweetheart neckline, and ruffled skirt...Bridey, don't you totally want to be her right now?!!Holy shit with the black orchids! Wow!H.O.L.Y.L'Estelle Photography: The pastry, invitation, and floral designers worked together to make our concept come to life.
This styled 70s shoot is an inspirational buffet of awesomeness. Seriously, when I saw these photographs, I immediately wanted to stop what I was doing (oh wait... I did...) and dive head first into this sea of the 70s, but with a modern twist. Bridey, there is so much kickass inspiration here, that there is no way you won't walk away with a pile of ideas, even if your wedding is nowhere near this kind of glam. I am completely obsessed with the deep, sensual color palette and all of the fun little enhancements these peeps used to tie it all together.
Not too mention that the lighting in these photographs is sensational. Bridey, I've said it a million times, lighting has the power to change everything! So, use it! These photographs are not only so well executed, but they seem to glow, and that's because of the lighting. Soooo... Enough out of me! Go soak up the fucking brilliance of this shoot.
Whoa.Hey girl...These colors! The crispness of the photographs! The imagination!! I mean... I'm gonna start crying it's so good...Time for a little making out. This a gorgeous, naked wedding cake. No frills. No embellishments. Just well done.
In case you didn’t know, purple is the color of good judgment (I know! Right??), and as it turns out, radiant orchid is the Pantone wedding color for 2014. How cool is that?? So bridey, if you’re incorporating purple into your wedding day, then clearly you have some seriously fantastic judgment! Recognizing that a purple color palette is a fantastic way to express oneself, some splendidly creative and talented wedding vendors teamed up with a cool venue in Dover, Massachusetts, The Connors Center, and rocked this radiant orchid palette so hard that I can hardly stand it! When I was done picking up jaw off of my desk, I immediately jumped at the chance to share this shoot with you. (Psst! Hey Boston brideys! Look to your right... Bitchless Bride is coming to Boston!)
Bridey, there is so much to look at in this post, that I am about two shakes away from freaking out! I mean from the grounds of The Connors Center, to vases of allium and viburnum on the place card table, to the remarkable Indian inspired linen, to the bride’s STUNNING bouquet to the awesome purple wedding cake with a big-ass antique gold flower… OMG, the list goes on and on! Like, there’s even a purple wedding dress with a freaking tutu and then a costume change into a gorgeous white wedding gown. And the fact that I am jealous of the flower girl’s dress might mean that there is something truly wrong with me. Anyway, I think I am officially write/rambling, so I will let you get to it! Scroll away! Enjoy this one! Um, I think it’s clear that I did. Seriously, I think I need a cold shower…
Holy moly! Look at this place! Hi. I need this dress. That's all.Lovely costume change! And the grounds of The Connors Center are perfect for a wedding!I cannot get over the amazing florals in this shoot! Absolutely incredible!I mean... I can't... The gold tutu, the purple shoes and the overall cuteness is going to throw me over the edge.Hypnotiq is one badass drink... Look it up. I bet it's delicious with Prosecco. Definitely a "dazzler"!
Bridey, if you’re looking for inspiration, look no further! Seriously, there are oodles of inspiration in this rustic, boho shoot. OODLES! These pics are absolutely drool worthy, and every now and again, it’s nice for me to step down from the soapbox that is The Truth Hurts Tuesday, and even take a break from Real Wedding Wednesday and linger over the amazingly inspirational possibilities of a styled shoot brought to me by some seriously creative peeps in the industry.
If you’re looking for some simple, yet beautiful styling ideas for your wedding, just scroll down. Jacqueline Marie Studios incorporated rich florals, vintage props and even a pink signature drink with a kiwi garnish. Super awesome, right? I mean, kiwi is rather delicious and you never see it in a cocktail, let alone at a wedding! Perhaps you want to rock a stunning headpiece as you make your way down the aisle? Then replicate the handmade floral wreath below. Personally? I am dying over that dress! Lace is not usually my thing (and neither is a form fitting gown due to my voluptuous ass), but I find myself loving the lace, the shape and the cut. And, don’t even get me started on the cake!!! Hell yeah! Enjoy this one, bridey. I did!Um... A MAZ ING. I love everything about this pic. Her hair, the headpiece and her beautiful long neck.Hi kiwi. You look quite lovely in a pink cocktail. Would make for a great signature drink!Such a fantastic chandelier!
This is truly a Fantasy Friday... I mean, this entire shoot is based on a dream the photographer had! I know, right? And it's one hell of a dream, brideys! Scroll down, and read more from the "horses mouth":
Maegan Hay Imaging: "Andy & Sara's fictious nuptials come on the coattails of a dream I had in which I photographed this brilliant, elegant equestrian wedding. As a horse person I have always wanted to photograph an equine inclusive wedding, and in my dream, the wedding was the perfect combination of rustic chic (that we've all seen a million times...) and modern elegance. Kayleen's ghost pumpkins, flowers and tablescape were the perfect mix of the two styles, and combined with CLIS's simple cupcakes and Tawny and Tuesday's downhome cooking, the table was, simply put, a vision.
Photographed on a rare and unseasonably sunny Washington day, the late afternoon fall sunlight blessed us with perfect colors and sunflare that made for very minimal post processing for me. And lastly, Andy & Sara (who are real life love birds) sizzled with emotion in front of the camera and reflected in their eyes is a love for a each other even more breathtaking than the $10k sparkler that was on loan from Borthwick Jewelers in Ferndale, WA. All vendors (including Anderson Bean and Coastal Farm and Ranch) generously provided their goods and services for free in return for collaborating on this shoot. It simply couldn't have been a more perfect day, and it was, quite literally, a dream come true for this humble photographer."Such a lovely table...
Yummmmmm....I mean, it's a beautiful horse, but holy shit! Would you look at that ring?!!! Need a closer look? Then look down!!!Wowza!
